This week we're having:
Sunday: Lamb with roast potatoes and veg.
Monday: Chicken wrapped in bacon with new potatoes and veg
Tuesday: Pork Cheeks casserole served with mash and veg.
Wednesday: Cubed Lamb made into kebabs with onions, tomatoes and peppers, served with rice.
Thursday: Scampi, Wedges and Beans/Mushy Peas.
Friday: Stovies.
Not terribly exciting but STILL attempting to make head way on the enormous amount of food we already have in - speaking of which i shall go read the store cupboard challenge because we're 4 weeks in and still have enough food to avoid shopping for anything other then fresh for another month minimum!0 -

Last week I stuck to my meal plan, right down to the last ingredient! This week:
Breakfasts: Toast with marmite, fruit or porridge
Lunches: Sandwiches, bag of crisps and a fruit
Dinners:
Sunday: Bacon and Roast potato
Monday: Sausage, mash and Peas
Tuesday Smoky Sausage pasta
Wednesday: Tuna, Sweetcorn Pasta bake
Thursday: Shepherds Pie
Friday: Home made pizza
I start a new job on Tuesday so all my recipes are super quick one's which can be made and served in 20 mins max because my working hours are now 9am - 6pm.0 -
Well my cooking skills were a bit variable last week so I am hoping to do better this time.
Sat - beany bake and carrots. This was excellent and is doing me two lunches next week as well.
Sun - pizza and chips
Mon - tomato and mushroom risotto.
Tues - raid the pantry pie.
Weds - kitcheri
Thurs - oriental noodles with brocolli
Fri - parsnip, carrot and brocolli korma.
lunches are leftovers and sarnies. Breakfasts mostly porridge and one or two eggy days. I really intended to plan out puddings this week as the family can't seem to cope when the meal ends abruptly after a main course, but no planning has been done so it will be a mixture of fruit, angel dewotsit, semolina whatever is quick."A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
I still am Puddleglum - phew!0 -
