  • Tuesday!

Well my bank account currently sits at £5.02  with 15 days till pay day  with only 2 more child benefit payments due. I think that now is the time to catch up on my NSD challenge :rotfl:.......starting with TODAY! I will NOT spend! Am leaving my purse in the car (so i can't go online, and won't have it when i walk past the shops taking dd to nursery!)

Have been up since 5.45, dh decided to sleep through his alarm and was nearly late until i -luckily for him- woke up 10 minutes before he was due to pick his boss up !!! I decided to make good use of the time and practise my meditation. I find it really difficult to stop myself thinking about everything. I get so frustrated with myself that it takes me about half hour before i relax enough to meditate ......hoping this will improve as time goes on!:rotfl:

I've scrubbed the kitchen clean, dh, bless him, he loves to cook. He is rubbish at cleaning. Just doesn't do it anywhere near a standard i like :o so i've been in there bleached & polished & scrubbed and now everything is gleaming :D

Checked my pending credits/debits on my account and topcashback & quidco are due to be paid in tomorrow so hopefully my balance will go up to £20 :rotfl:don't really need anything until next week now but dh has promised to take the kids swimming so that is a tenner :o! Then next sat (26th) we are picking ds up for exeat! That's practically a whole tank of petrol gone so will prob need to transfer money from emergency funds, but that's ok as i overpaid into there this month so it wasn't just 'sitting' in my current account waiting to be spent. So hopefully will still be under budget :)

anyway, i need another cup of tea before the school run. Feeling very tired! have a good day all :)

  • No wonder you are tired with all that going on. I am going to enjoy Xmas and be a good girl again in the new year.

I don't blame you! we all need a break/refresher every now and then. I'm seeing december as my month off too ;) and back to it in Jan! I just hope my new tenants move in ok and pay on time so as not to scupper my frivilous xmas plans :rotfl:

  • If there is one thing we have all learned it is to have some money as emergency funds. its the only way to get through it all without crashing and burning.

Hope you get a few NSD's under you belt in the next few days. I only went into town to put money into bank ready for bills and ended up buying a few more pressies. It is so easy to do and especially when children are not with me. I need to check what i have got already so i dont buy too much:)

  • YAY today is a NSD :D

I'm not going out again and i've not spend thus far, so think i can safely count it now ;) still behind on where i should be though!

Had to transfer some money across in the bank as I forgot about some stuff coming out. I wish that it would show all the outgoings on pending not just the direct debits (which i know about anyway!) never mind, thanks to my obsession of checking it at least 2x a day i caught it in time before i got charged ;)
