My DD birthday cake is in the oven :) have to ice that later on and decorate it! Hope it turns out ok as i can't be bothered doing it again!

Been out and bought brekkie for us and a newspaper so around £7 spent and a nice morning out. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather and think the kids are, not as much energy as they usually have and i have zero energy lol, which is why i have started on the cake now rather than later tonight!

M.O.T is booked for 28th. Hope it passes otherwise i will be very unhappy :( our car tax and insurance is all due for renewal as well! so spendy month if it fails. we need a car esp for taking ds to school and we are going to the lake district next month! DH suggested we get rid of it altogether! I nearly throttled him! I feel like i'm stuck in most days as it is cos i can't afford petrol much, but the days i do get out in the car always make us all feel better!!!

Anyway must go check cake and online bank! Oh and does anyone know where i can go to check what grades should be reached for end of yr 7 (key stage 3) i have a report card here with numbers and letters on but no guide as to what he should be achieving :/:confused:

    Hi DFW

I'm sure that the combined cakes taste lovely. I've had some serious stressy moments just trying to make the perfect cake based on small childs favourite character of the time. I once made a cake that I was really proud of and handed it over to the party organiser at bowling and as I was walking away I heard 2 members of staff asking each other "Whats it meant to be?" :rotfl:

Its the love and attention thats put into that means the most!

Hope DD has a lovely birthday xxxx

Have lost another lb! so that is 3lb off this month. Would like 3lb more :D

Have spent £40 on food over weekend, had a surprise BBQ tea party for DD to share the cake i made! Thought it was a shame to go to all that effort and not let anyone see it lol. Everyone thought it was fab and yummy...........AND didn't notice i had glued (with butter cream) 2 cakes together haha!

DH being a pain in the a$$. decided he hates his job, hates his life. fed up of being XX old and not having anything to show for it, like a car (in my name), house (also in my name as i bought when not with him), credit card even or savings (in my name........don't trust him with them) blah blah blah so i am getting the 'silent' treatment each weekend he is home. I seriously cannot wait until a sunday evening comes round and i know he is going back to work again :( how bad is that. This week is the last week of his course and i know it has been a hard one, and 9 weeks long, esp considering he just spent 7 months in afghan by himself. But it's not my fault :( i am suffering just as much and so are the kids. None of them wanted to go to him this weekend. You could just feel the negative energy pouring out from him almost like he was waiting to erupt. DS1 wsa naughty but DH took it too far and spent 45 mins screaming at him on saturday :( and grabbed him by his ear which is now cut. TBH i am scared to say anything to upset him right now. He has never lashed out but he always uses his size to intimidate me if you know what i mean, when we row. Stands over me etc. P*sses me off. Esp as i have asked him a few times what is wrong......all i get is 'nothing' - 'you wouldn't understand' -' i'm not telling you'........... *sigh* this is the main reason probably that i feel so run down and hence now have a stinking cold :(

Does anyone have any advice on difficult men????!!!!!!

So anyway instead of gorging on food cos of my bad mood, i went to the monsoon sale and spent £40 on 2 tops :o only good news about this is that they were size 10's!!!!!!

My tax credits have also gone down by £30 a week which we will really miss as my tax credits usually pay for my food shop/petrol & entertainment for the week. b*g*er!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now i have £78 to spend on all of these things ...really not having a good week. Hoping when i wake up tomorrow it will all have been a bad dream like that bobby ewing story line in Dallas (which is coming back to our screens :T)

Anyway night all! have a good one!
