thank you hun, certainly was a great win as we could never have afforded this on our budget! Must be fate :)

How are you getting on with the dmp, have you decided to go down that route, or are you trying another way first? xx

I have been in touch with cccs and they have sent us the paperwork to sign to get things all sorted. Only problem is OH. He thinks we can manage on our own and blames me for buying a dodgy car - which was repaired using cr card. I wish this was the only problem! Anyway need to make him see that this is not going to go away and we could actually get things sorted even if it does take a while. DMP recomends we have £350 per month for food - currently on £150, and struggling so we would be living like kings (or saving the extra bits for extra debt payments or treats that we would never have been able to afford). Also my avon that started slow has picked up again and have reached higher target much to my amazement, so hopefully payments could go up soon after we start

My Dh was a pain to talk round, I spent an entire day in the end, collecting CC, O/D, Loan payments & statements & sitting down working out how much we were paying each month on MINIMUM payments, and then how much we had left & how long it would take to pay each of those bills (forever!) and he eventually bent and said ok! But i had to do the calling, filling in paperwork, finding relevant papers etc and chasing up creditors, the only ones i can't do are his sole ones which he kicks up a right fuss about calling most of the time, by simply telling me he will do it, then forgetting till i nag. Then i'm a nag for going on  i've seen some men posting on here about their debts and it muct take real guts because i think most men are just put your head in the sand and wait till it all gets too much!

I didn't have a budget before the DMP for petrol, clothes, school fees, food, in fact anything ...after we started i felt rich! I had never had so much money to spend on things we needed (and felt strangely guilty :o) but i've managed to half our grocery budget now with this site and start yearly budgeting for other bills- so exciting lol!

here's hoping you get it sorted soon so you can start living again! x

Been food shopping and spent £80.70 so over half way on our monthly food budget now  and still have 2 and half weeks left! Oops! Did get quite a lot for my money, although i was planning on going to Ald* first then te$co but i had forgotten to check online bank so had to go tesc* first to check make sure tax credits went in grr so thought seeing as though i was already there may as well get it all there! Next time I will check! could have probably saved another £5-10 at least! Although to be fair everything (nearly) i bought was own brand or on offer, or reduced! Things like eggs, potatoes etc i've noticed have gone up by loads!!! or is this just me!

Also i'm sure their own brand pasta sauce was 17p the other week..........38p today! Pffffft. rip off! lol :rotfl:

Anyway need to go save my washing as it's started spitting, hopefully it has dried though! save my electricity bill!

Abba-it's lovely knowing that if i need emergency money it no longer has to go on a credit card! If however the emergency comes to more than one month's wages hmm well we're a bit stuck lol as we have no credit cards as back ups!

Today i'm planning on dying on the sofa, i feel awful, tired, achy and ill. Oh but i forget i am mummy to 3 kiddies hmmm, well i'll have to put off the dying part until bedtime and take them to the zoo instead :( ! They have already trashed the house so the staying in part has pretty much been blown out the water by 8am! So just waiting for dishwasher to finish, so i can load it up (put it on an empty cycle as it's playing silly bu**ers and not cleaning properly, so hoping a bit of bleach in there will sort that out!) then make a quick pack up, pack the water proofs, wellies and thermals for a lovely summers day out lol!

need to check online bank also to make sure i have enough money for DD birthday ........although i may just use money from the sealed pot fund tbh as that is what it was supposed to be for.

Anyway best crack on got thousands of jobs to do *sigh* .......am making that date to lay on the couch and collapse though later!
