Tuesday!
Well today we're going to the panto :j
I have spent most of the night awake though, i feel ill (again ) and so does ds2so between us we've been coughing, crying (ds not me although i felt like it when he had me up for the millionth time) and blowing our noses
I officially hate winter colds
DH went out and got me some tablets so hoping they kick in whilst he is out running now as i need to get into gear and get kids fed, dressed & out the door by 1pm
Just checked bank, rounded it down and transferred £2.50 out to my savings pot. I have £100 left now till pay day. We also get child benefit next monday but as i'm short next month i'd preferably like to save it. But money seems to be going out as quick as it's coming in lately!!
I spend £16 posting some parcels yesterday  spent another £60 in ald* &dh spent money on petrol so we're down to 100 now, should be plenty but we'll see. DH is taking the kids swimming on xmas eve so i can make up the dolls house, and charge ds2 monster thing up for xmas day :T so that will be £20 gone there! Also i promised kids a take out on christmas eve so can wave goodbye to another £20 or so there ! Hoping MIL will give us some cash towards the foodshe usually does, although i'd never ask so if she doesn't oh well!
Right cup of tea time & wait for tablets to work then getting ready for panto  have a fab day all

No news on the £200.50 that is missing !!!
But strangely I had a random call from the letting agents management dept about the money i'd claimed for from previous tenants destroying the home () i'd given up hope on a positive outcome but they have agreed to pay 1/3 of costs i had to pay for carpet & garden :jwhich is definitely better than nothing and I won't dispute it as I had no schedule of condition! So that equates to around £200 :j:T
My dad has just transferred £200 into my bank account for myself, dh & kids so have put £50 straight into ds1 account and left the rest for jan sales :T i think i may be able to affford some new pans now yey :T
I'm FULL of cold, feel really yukky and sore nosejust hoping it clears by saturday now
I get child benefit tomorrow instead of monday so can't touch that as that is my food money next week! Also hoping that £200 from tenant's bond will be with me by Jan! That will get my savings off to a nice start!
Not doing much today apart from the usual chores. I've also added up my quidco that is outstanding and there is £126 tracked and not paid yet  so hoping that clears soon can either go towards gift fund or emergency funds/savings :TMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. It's not going too well for you at the moment healthwise.
I wish I could wave a wand and make you feel better.
Good news on the money from your previous tenants. I always hope I spell that word correctly and it is not the way of the beer. :rotfl:
Will pop in again before Christmas, hopefully.

thank you bonnington
Well I am still full of cold but have more energy today :j -good job too as ds2 was sick all over the bed at around 4am this morningreally hoping it's a 24 hour thing, i'd hate for everyone to be ill or getting over it on xmas day
Was going to go into town yesterday but put it off as not well so may venture out today, lil one can go to sleep in pram and i can get the few bits i need & some fresh air. Don't really fancy all the crowds but I suppose if i'm not in a rush or panic to get anything i can just let the madness go on around me!
Child benefit has gone in :T have left it in main account. Must not touch it though! or else beans on toast next week for lunch & dinner :rotfl:!

So sorry to hear the little ones are unwell. It is always around Christmas, me and OH were talking about it earlier and I think nearly 4 out of 6 Christmases in this house someone has been ill  DD is streaming snot but this doesn't normally stop her or keep her down.
I hope everyone picks up in your house and you have a nice ChristmasJust keep swimming!0 -
