  • Bless you, he will be fine and you can talk when he is home.

The school are aware, and will be taking care of him.

    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Afternoon all :)

    Well ds1 is home! :j

I have the main pressies out in the roof box after picking up from mum's house last night :T and i've dropped off 3 lots of pressies (so cupboard a little more empty lol) and picked up 1 lot :)

I daren't put them under the tree though, think the temptation would just be too much for the little ones :rotfl:

I had a £5 groupon voucher in an email so ordered 6 bottles of wine from virgin for £19.99 :j although i didn't notice when ordering p&p is another £5 +!! So they will go away for over xmas :T ...

Sent off my final ebay sale of the year ( i think) and underestimated the postage by £1.50  hate it when that happens!!!!! so they got a nice little toy for £2 ..oh well. Just hope it gets to them now. I sent a parcel last week, standard delivery and it's still not arrived yet :( hoping none of them get lost ...

Bank is looking decidedly bare. Not good! And we need another top up shop for juice, veg & fruit. Think I may write a list and go by myself this evening when it's quiet and things are reduced. See what i can find!

No money from tenants yet :( i feel a 'groundhog' day coming on like last christmas where i checked my bank every day for rent and it never turned up :(

Kids are very tired we got home at 10pm last night and they have been scrapping all day *sigh* roll on 5pm dinner, 6pm bath, 6.30pm bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Ohhhhhhhh and the pox was not the pox according to our slightly senile and very old doctor who was more interested in trying to prise cinderella shoes from my 3 yr old than looking at the spots. I purposely asked to see him though as i knew he diagnoses diddly squat :D and I knew he'd say 'seannnnnnnnnd her to schoooooooool she's fine' in his old italian accent!

    ha!

I was right and she was bk at school for her carol concert this morning ;) so chicken pox or not, who knows! certainly not the dr! (he's so far mis-diagnosed flu, depression, food poisoning, eczema & asthma - i breathe wrong!) hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • Right 2nd try.........

:D ok, so hubby is taking kids swimming meaning i can get a soak in bath, read my book & catch up on here quickly. Then he is away from this afternoon till friday ...

I need to send off all my christmas cards this week. Return some christmas lights that were wrong (needed a transformer) and generally find free things to do!

No money from tenants yet. I've no idea if they have even moved in :( would have called dad to check but there has been a death in his wives family so don't want to bug him. SO will email letting agent tomorrow and see what is going on.

Bank account sits at £70  £46 due tomorrow, and another 2 lots before the end of the month. If i receive no tenancy money this may be all we have to live on till Jan (grrr like last year) so £15 for swimming today that is £55 left so back up to £100 tomorrow and can't remember if anything needs paying next week! We've enough shopping in to last till dh gets home next week and even then only need fresh stuff i think :)

eek  i hate being broke!!!

Anyway i'm off to read my book, i'm totally engrossed, and kind of happy dh not here tonight so i can read it in bed and not have him moan i'm being boring :rotfl:

    :A dfw

  • Hey lovely, I was borke last year like you, my comfort this year is I know how broke I am, haha.

Take comfort in that, and the fact you had a nice relax. How is DS mood?

:rotfl::rotfl: yes i should be well aware of how broke i am really shouldn't I :o but i live my life in denial. It's much nicer that way :rotfl:

DS seems to have improved somewhat, apart from the odd blip he is just being a teenager! However he was very rude the other night and my DH went nuts so they had a screaming match between them :( I did try to tell dh to leave him be but he was having none of it. As it happens ds came and said sorry after so obviously felt bad  he never says sorry even when we try to make him!

Have tried chatting about counselling but no goer at the mo, also about changing schools, he thinks he is in the best school available to him (which he is, but not when it is detrimental to his mental health...) so leaving it until new year for the mo.........we'll have a chat before he goes back i think!

    :)

  • Yes give him time. Teenagers are sent to try us. They are "these things" which people speak of. I am sure.
