Today!
Well i'm illfeeling very rough and like i'm pregnant (i'm not) but have that constant sicky feeling in my tummy ...so haven't been able to get much done today! think it was all the stress of yesterday with ds ...
I have picked up a clothes airer though for free that someone was giving away :T
Dyed my hair (ginger really is not my thing. Don't care if it's natural)
Got a top up shop at A$da, -also started stocking up on batteries whilst they were 2 for £6 on duracell there.
This afternoon i'm going for a nap so long as dh still around and not at work!
Jobs can wait till tomorrow (including lots of washing and drying clothes on my new airer!)
Hope all is well with everyone. DS1 went to panto last night with the school and said he enjoyed it so i think things are looking up for him today and also his matron is going to speak to his English teacher as that is the subject he struggles with the most and easily gets upset after every lesson so hopefully something constructive will come out of this :T
right off for a hot chocolate and bed see you later (i will be back at some point to update spends#!)MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Hi
What a horrible situation to be in. It sounds as though you have the full support of the school which is good. I think you are doing the correct thing if he wants to stay at the school you can always take him out later if you feel it would be best.

Thank you everyone
ds1 only has 2 nights left before he can come home and do what teens do best....sleep!!
My computer died yesterdayand dh has uploaded a new version of windows for me so i'm hoping this works
the screen looks all stretched at the mo and i don't know how to fix it. But at least it's working without crashing every 5 seconds!
Emailed letting agent this morning about when my money would be paid. Tenant has NOT moved in. !!!!!!. Noone thought to tell me?! apparantly they weren't happy enough with the cleanliness of the place.......i haven't seen it so not sure what they mean. All wood and walls were painted and new carpets though. So hoping it just needed windows cleaned, hoovering and a dust over?!
Will soon find out. Nice to be kept in the loop :rolls eyes:
My phone provider rang me last night anxious for me to sign another 12 month contract. I told them i was considering BT. They reduced my line rental by £2. SO i said no ta, BT still cheaper so they reduced it by £3.50. I said yes, but have 14 days to cancel. My contract is up in march apparantly. Then i could get BT vision/phone/ internet for much less than i pay for talk talk & sky?! Hmmm. Talk talk tried to tell me they were bringing out their own t.v service though that wouldn't be beaten on price. But i'm wondering if that is for existing customers. Usually not!!!
Have just transferred £10.50 from paypal. Had £15 in there but ebay charges were £4.50
Am still waiting on someone to pay from ebay. That will be another fiver. Then ebay is getting the sack for now. Can't be a$$ed with the hassle!!!
Weather is very cold here not as cold as scotland apparantly they have snow ... but we're getting there lol!
anyways best go get dressed. Hubby has disappeared so i guess i have to pick up dd from nursery.

Evening all
well the christmas tree is up:xmastree:
I got it out, ready to put up on Thursday/Friday when ds1 is home and i left the room 10 mins and when i was back there were decorations everywhere thanks to child #2 & #3!!!
So it's up!
Finally got payment from my ebay saleso need to post that tomorrow or thursday!
Today I have cleaned the bathroom, ds1 room, ds2&dd room. Still need to finish mine off but i've made a start (it's the dumping ground for clean washing, ebay, presents atm!)
I have filled 5 (FIVE!!!!!) bags of recycling today just from kids' rooms!!!!! Can't be bothered with the ol'ebay so off to sister's house it goes!
DS1 called and had his first counselling session today, am quite impressed they got him in so quick. He said the lady was nice but he won't go againi think just in case anyone finds out is the reason why
need to think of good plan to get him back. SO far though, Me having more kids & getting married to his father & moving away from london is to blame
.........ummmm not sure how to rectify that?!
Am £4.50 away from payout on a survey site. Have around £2.50 pending so not far from another voucher :T
Had to order new xmas tree lights as last years (and in fact every yr since 1999) have died a sad death in the garage! There is 5 sets intertwined and 3 sets have bust! so they are on the tree, not very twinkly lol and i've ordered more from amazon using the credit i had there so no spends on it!
Anyway whilst i have 10 min am gonna catch up on everyone's diaries! :AMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Chicken POX has invaded the house DD is utterly devastated that she couldn't go to nursery
. I went to a$da with kids. Both moaning. Ended up spending £27  £15 on some homeware bits for my mum & sister (i know i said i finished shopping, but they need these bits and can't afford them themselves
) and £12 on a santa hat!! chocolate (a must for chicken pox i hear
) and some extra dinner bits (umm about £2 and this is all i needed originally
:o)
Back home and pacifying DD with christmas moviesbut every so often she remembers about her friends at her nursery and sobs (oh dear, long day)
Have also filled petrol up, £56 :mad: ready to get ds1 from school. Not sure that's gonna be fun though with dd ill!
Anyway not much going on here today apart from cuddles so have a good day all :AMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. have shake'n'vacced the whole house today
it smells lush
think i will have to buy that more often
House has been tidied enough..i'm putting on a chick flick in a bit when kids go to bed & gonna wrap any pressies left & write cards for those i'm seeing tomorrow !
DS1 is having a dyslexia test not sure when but hopefully soon as then they may find out if that is why he is struggling. Thing is he's not stupid, he's in the 2nd set of English and at the top (and there are four sets i believe) but he can't progress any further as he always stumbles with this subject! He's ace at things like math, science so i guess you can't have it alljust hope they sort it out soon now as that'll be another thing to worry about otherwise!
Have spent an hour or so trying to make a spreadsheet for presents for birthdays & xmas next year.... In the hope I can spread the cost and also, so I know exactly who we need to buy for etc. I'm unsure how much money to allocate to each child (mine not family) at the mo - ds1 wants a laptop and we've been told it can help him with school work (he'll be starting GCSE's then. wow i'm old) so would be thinking of getting one anyway. BUT they are expensive......hummmm what to do.........perhaps he would accept a laptop as part birthday, part christmas pressie hmmmmm.......anyway can't believe i'm thinking of NEXT christmas when this one hasn't even happened yet WHAT is the matter with me :rotfl:
Ok back to this month.......i have around £200 left to live on  this will be a bit of a struggle! IF i actually get the tenancy money, £300 of that was part of this month's budget so that will push it up to £500 left to last the month  which is LOADSA money! :T so here's keeping fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong with that friGg1ng house !!

Hi DFW
I hope the dyslexia test goes ok for DS, as you say they can't be good at everything but been brilliant at maths and sciences will open alot of doors for him
Hope DD is alright with her chicken pox, poor little girl. Have you given her piriton and bathed her in bicarbonate of soda? My 2 got it on the same day as they'd both played with the same boy who was infectious so we got it all over in a week!
I think our tree is going up this weekend, and I can relate to the many lights all knotted up together. Its a part of christmas in our house. Its quite amusing (in a sadistic way) watching DH trying to untangle them and then getting annoyed with them!
Have a lovely day xxx0
