  • Eek!!!!!!!! Just totted up the spends on grocery for december (the bulk buy at beginning of month) and the trolleys are estimated at £260 altogether

Think I will have to see what I have bought when it has all arrived

I know I have spent £40 on nappies & wipes, £10 on household cleaning stuff & clothes washing powder. So that is £210 left to account for :o oooh yes and £7 on toilet rolls, £4 on shampoo/conditioner so that's another tenner so only £200 left to account for :p

WOW i hope A LOT of stuff turns up in the next two days :rotfl:!

Need to do budget this afternoon! Could have done it all this morning but te$co kept crashing and then showing things out of stock in my basket so i had to get from elsewhere .......I hope nothing major is out of stock or i'll be taking a trip to the shops anyway!

  • i've done the hoovering and washed & dried two lots of washing. Not very mse with the tumble drier! (ds2 broke my airer a week after buying it :( )

I've emptied a whole cupboard (only the size of an airing cupboard so not huge) and it is to put my bulk buys in from now on :T it used to be called the eBay cupboard :p but that pile is now reduced to a wash basket :T:j

And speaking of good ol' fleabay, I have 5 watchers on one of my items :j starting bid is £6.99 so hopefully i will get a tenner for it :) no watchers on the other bits yet but still have 5 days left

I'm dropping off something i sold on fb tomorrow morning so another £18 :j then i'm going straight to bank with money and will transfer everything out to savings as we get paid on Weds (at last!)

AND MY GOOD NEWS: DH text me earlier and he has completed his course & no broken bones :j now we just have to chase up the back pay and wait for the extra money to go on the wages each month (knowing a&my will take them a year to do this, so am not including anything for debt busting until we've got it) someone else on the course, however, did require an ambulance :(!!

After bills have been paid i've worked out we have around £470 left to last the month (this is not including the £250+ shop i just did ) so that has to cover petrol, extra food each week, any presents we may have missed (i don't think i have missed any though- and they are all wrapped :A) erm and entertainment money & pocket money. so hoping there is enough :)

The petrol tank is still half full so hoping we can pick ds1 up on that :) anyway whilst kids are watching Dora i best go clean dinner mess up (cos i am going to bed at 7pm too :rotfl:)

    dfw :D

ahh you caught me :rotfl: I was in bed for 7 all ready to go to sleep............ds2 was being a pain in the butt and refused to sleep so i put the t.v on for him in bed and he promptly fell asleep and i was left wide awake !!!!!

SO then i went onto ebay, and :o:o spent :o:o £12.50 something on a cinderella dress for my dd :o she was desperate for one and kept telling me that all her friends had one (excuses........) AND it was cheaper than buying from shop :D am i forgiven diary?!!

BUT I am going to bed NOW lol! so night night :rotfl:

Great news about OH passing his course injury free, but not so great about wages being down. Does OH have any ideas? I have been very good this morning as only took a small amount of cash with me to the shops for things i actually needed. Left card at home or i could easily have spent over £40 on extra stuff. We will have money one day :)

    thanks slm :)

Well i got £20 for the toy (we'd agreed £18 but she paid me to drop it off too, ah bless her) and quite literally as I was coming out of her turning my warning light goes on in the car *sigh* only a bulb gone, but it was dark -ish (and 9.45 am??!!!) and thought i ought to be good and get it fixed immediately. Or else it's one of those jobs, that dh is 'doing tomorrow' for ever more!

So into halfords, £16.99 :eek::eek: later (i thought that was a TAD expensive!) and i have a few quid left from my sale :( but to look at this positively, i didn't use my card, so the expenditure was money neutral really, and i've even got a few quid left :p!!

So jobs this afternoon (if i write them here does that make me more likely to complete them, i wonder):
    • [STRIKE]washing up (need dishwasher salt and shopping not due till 3-5[/STRIKE])
    • put dishes away half done!
    • do another wash
    • change kids beds
    • [STRIKE]
    • tidy cupboards [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]
    • clean freezer[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]put freezer back on so is cold in time for shopping[/STRIKE]
    • dry clothes
    • put clothes away
    • hoover front room
    • make dinner (spag bol)
    • put shopping away when it gets here- and stock up the 'stock' cupboard so dh can't find it all at once and eat it al!!
That will do for now, i have others but will crack on with these first :rotfl:

Think i may have to put heating on too i'm frozen! AND how cold was it last night (very) !!!!!!

How wonderful. Is it normal to do this? I cant imagine ever wanting to pay rent or in my case mortgage 6 months in advance out of choice. Guess if they have the money there ready it saves them spending it. Good news for you though :)
