I am trying for first time on FB but nothing as yet. Some lovely bits but the site is soo busy i keep going to the end of the pile with the new bits being added. Well done on your sales though and your change jar. Also very self controlled to put dec money into savings until needed.

    Keep going :)

keep at it! And make an album up if you haven't already done so, and just tell people to click through to your name and check out your album. that way you can post several times a day and it takes seconds to do it. I do it at breakfast (7am-8am) lunch time & 6pm onwards. I find the rest of the day quiet really but i guess each page /area is different :) x

  • Hi DFW

well done on those facebook sales, i have tried our local facebook page and no takers. I find gumtree and trade it the best for selling in this area.

Hopefully your migraine will get better x

  • Morning all

Well pretty productive last night & this morning :j I've sent off 4 old uni books to amazon trade in and if they pass the requirements that will be £21.30 to my amazon account :j if not they send them back so no loss!

Also sold something on fb which i will be dropping off friday for £18 :T considering i paid £11 for it i'm well chuffed as i had a years use out of it :T and there was a bit of a fb msg war over who was going to have it !!

Also had someone interested in a toy which i have provisionally sold for £18 but if they pull out i have someone else lined up now :)

So nearly £60 for a few hours work!

Also will be getting a £10 voucher for taking part in some research through a survey site :)

won't add anything to my november totals though until i have it in my hand

Have enough money in the bank to pay my direct debit due out either end of this week or beginning of next (right before payday!) and nothing else so i can not spend anything on my card now for the foreseeable! I did transfer out of savings enough to pay for the panto tickets though as they were selling super quick! £103 for 5 of us :eek: even the babies! Not too happy with that ! So all this money i am making will be going to repay the savings back.......so if i can get all the money above i only need find another 40 or 50 quid :rotfl:lol i make that sound easy :o which of course it won't be no doubt !

Today will be a nsd apart from panto tickets, it was free to send parcel to amazon and i am spending the day cleaning. House is a tip. Again. *sigh*!

also need to complete surveys again as i have let them build up in my inbox for far too long and have 30+ in there  of which 29 i am probably too late to do, won't qualify or they have reached target audience.......but i will still waste 4 hours of my life doing them just to make sure cos you know 30 points is a lot of wonga (what is the pence equivalent i wonder? 12p?) :rotfl:

Well done on your sales. I am still waiting for any interest on my fb sales. I do a lot of surveys only to be told that i dont qualify when i reach the end - very frustrating.

    Have a great day :)

  • Thanks for that I've just ordered one hope it turns up in time for Christmas :)

Well in dfw land I have news to report ( and I'm slightly nervous!) is that Mr Dfw wants to be in charge of the grocery budget for December co's Mrs Dfw does a carp job of getting nice meals apparently pfft well good luck with that, should I take bets as to when the money & food will run out? No doubt steak and chips every night for dinner! And I think he has it pretty easy for December I allocated another £100! And £50 for alcohol!!!

Oh well, suppose he needs to learn to budget as I did perhaps he might give me credit by January rather than constantly moaning ( won't hold my breath though!!!)

My OH went through this if you remember, until it actually came to him physically going to the shops and looking for bits and pieces. Think we would be living off pizza / burger and chips each day. Almost certain that there would be no fruit and veg! I am sure you are doing a fab job . And thanks happy for the info re lego, i have ordered one
