BF have you tried walking? I have had problems with my knees for years and when I can't run I speed walk, if you can get up to a speed of around 13 min a mile you will be putting in as much effort (calorie burn) as a beginner running but without the impact, you do also get the toning effect:j

So £400 school trip is off (Hurrah!) however there is another one looming next year but at leas I have 8 months to save for that! :o
Rest day yesterday so need to fit in 5 miles tonight
Nothing on the money front just sitting here waiting for payday! Although I may have another party interested in the car so that would help (fingers crossed)

So now I just need to keep going!
Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here :D

Hello missed updating yesterday as we were running around in a mad dash BUT the car has sold!!!
So now we have the money in the bank, I can't update yet as I'm not sure what the best options are so for now I'm going to play with the numbers
and work out the best move over the weekend
Looks like I can clear a loan off that will give me the courage to apply to move the cc to a 0% card that would also reduce the DFD

Havn't got to work this weekend Hurrah! so I will also be invoicing for the month and doing more number crunching :j

Also need to fit in 10 miles sometime over the weekend just off for a 5 mile stroll this evening then:eek:

  • My OH can't run as with coming off the bike and serving in the armed forces his knees can't stand it either but he has suggested that we do the walking instead...

Haven't run for a bit but sometimes my leg justs start hurting without even having done anything - such as driving in the car its always the same place and feels really tender...:(

Yayyyyyyyyy:j you have sold the car....

Hope you have a great weekend :)

Hello, I'm back kept up with everyone over the weekend but didn't manage to post, however I did get my 10 miles in and the house is in reasonable shape too
Just need to cut the grass tonight and then tackle the ironing

However in major money saving news.... I went shopping this weekend for some new work clothes and spent ...... NOTHING!

Didn't even food shop as we seem to have more than enough for this week so it's a good start to the week, now if only I could loose some more weight.

Woohoo to selling the car and having numbers to crunch always a nice feeling to have options :)

Running is looking good too and I am sure some more weightloss will follow you are almost halfway.

Morning, thanks to all for your thoughts, I am sitting here with my mind nearly made up on the car money it will clear a loan off nicely and give me an extra £300/ month to snowball with :j

Apart from that yesterday was a NSD although I need to get salad stuff and some other bits later.
Grass got it's first cut of the year yesterday and the house looks SO much better for it so I've promised myself I'll be back in the garden this weekend

I need to get a quote to have some work done so I can save up and stay on top of house things I know I could use it all to pay debt but if I let the house get on top of me I'll be miserable and
spend on stupid things to make me feel better

As a very wise lady on here has said it's all about balance, have a good one all

I find that if the house is in reasonable shape then you in turn will feel better in yourself.

Plus if you can physically see the rewards of your hard work then that is a real boost too.

Hope you have a good day :)
