Hello all,
So I'm at that point in the month where I have been paid but nothing has gone out yet so am making plans and juggling numbers
(Note to self start thinking of hobby to replace number juggling when debt free!)
Yesterday was going to be a NSD but needed salad for lunch and I only have a few veg left at home so will need to get the rest today, must plan a little better
So no ironing done last night but I am on top of the washing and the house is reasonable, plus the ironing all fits in one basket so is not critical yet
4 miles run last night so that counts towards my feeling of general calmness also, however DS does have a stomach bug so will be hiding under the duvet mostly, until certain elements of his bug get the better of him! (you know their really ill when food gets turned away!):(

But then all the bills go out and its not so good...:o but at least its one more payment towards getting debt free...although mine are miniscule at the moment...but seem to be keeping the wolves from the door

Hope your DS is feeling much better and that you manage to have a NSD today.

just read through the last 3 pages. Sounds like paying off the loan is a plan, always assuming that there aren't penalties for paying it off early...
Hope DS is ok now. I have one or other of my DS's off with me for several days in the last two weeks and it really puts you behind doing other stuff. And especially nice one on the weight loss. that is my next challenge...gulp

So I am putting all the finances in the relevant places ready for the coming month and ready to clear the loan!!

Weigh in was 1/4lb down:cool: but I suppose better than up
And ironing tackled not complete but much less daunting now,
Yesterday turned out to be a NSD after all but today I have had to buy a new
dog bed (oh the glamour) and will finally have to make it to Mr T's I have put it off for two days but I think the hoards will revolt if I delay any longer!

Well a stave off shop from Mr T's complete and another 6 miles pounded on the pavements
so all is good with the world
As for MSE bits the car payment has gone out and I have been notified by Quidco that £21 will hit my account shortly so it looks like I will
have lots to update next week!!:D
Off now to update sig then work, have evening out at friends tonight which I am much looking forward to then 12 mile run Saturday and another
night out (Woo Hoo!) get me and my extreme weekend

Morning!!! Well had a lovely Mothers day and managed to get in a 12 mile walk Saturday and 4 mile run Sunday so am feeling I have offset the massive breakfast the kids made :T

Have paid my quidco money over to the card and checked the online banking to find that the car finance people have taken our payment again this month :eek::eek::eek:
So i am currently on hold to them

Have updated my sig but am not including that double payment I'm sure they do these things just to see if we're paying attention :mad::mad::mad:

Mine did the same thing with my monthly car payment. :mad: I knew that I was in the process of changing my bank account and rang up early and paid over the telephone for that month so that it wouldn't fall into arrears. The direct debit set up for the exact same date and they took it again :mad:....needless to say they said that they would refund the overpayment or they could miss collecting the payment the following month. Well if they could that, why didn't they do that in the first place then?? :mad: Naturally I said that I wanted the money returning couldn't trust them not to take it again.

Hopefully by now you will have recovered the amount

Hi BF Glad you got yours sorted, once I got through to the car company they admitted that a batch of payments for that day were processed twice (thought these things were automated!) :mad:
anyway they said that the money would be back in my account at close of play, have checked this morning and no sign yet so I will give it until the end of today and then unleash :mad::mad::mad:
myself on them!! thankfully not all my DD's come out in one go so I have enough money to cover everything but I feel for those who don't !
In other news the final payment of my loan that I am clearing with the car money came out today so I have updated my sig and will phone to clear it on Thursday
