    Hello!! I'm back
Have had a very hectic few weeks and although the worst is by no means over I have put plans in place for it to become slightly more acheivable rather than the total chaos it is now
    SO
DH is still having probs after surgery so is factored out until the middle of next week at least!
That means we will be at home for the weekend so I can catch up on washing and mount ironmore! and change the beds
It aslso means I will have time to clean the house as my (Ducks for cover, cleaner has not been this week) due to illness so although that's some money saved it is not really the point (hohum!):o

I have made some debtpayments and will update my sig shortly, but I was turned down for a 0% card so have lopped all the car money onto a card and have some spare to add to it wich will clear it by sept! That will then be snowballed onto the rest
    Hurrah I think we have a plan:cool:

Pup is off the the vets again Tues for scans and tests insured but still :(

So now I just need to keep going!
Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here :D
  • Hiya :j

Hoping that the little pup isn't too sore after the visit to the vets today.

Sorry to hear you DH is not feeling too good after his op although by now he maybe feeling a little bit better.:)

I need a plan to get me motivated to clear some of these debts of mine....goes away to put thinking cap on.....

Hello I'm back !!! Managed the moonwalk in under 6 hours so am well chuffed with that (Not quite Hypno's standard I know but I don't think I'll ever be able to contemplate running that far!):D:D
Pheww things are all going a bit haywire here but at least I'm managing to tread water and pay off rather than increase things :o

Have made a few payments and things are coming down not as quickly as I would like but at least they are down have adjusted my sig accordingly but am having a few problems with snowball at the moment, I have nearly reach 10K paid off the capital this year so am happy with that as my 22K initial target included interest, My next major aim is to get under 100K although I feel it may be a while yet I am (to steel a phrase from a well known MSE'er) forming a cunning plan!:j
Anyway onwards, need to renew the car insurance from my previous quote and also have had to have my engagement ring repaired £140 (was a necessity as it fell apart!) I feel all wrong when I'm not wearing it so although it was expensive it was needed and I will now have to cut back this month and next! Although I have found some old bits that I could sell to help make up the money so am off to town tomorrow with them to aid the shortfall :)
Hope everyone is well xxx hugs to all those going through tough times

SO Insurance money has gone out and I'm just off to pay the 29 left over off the card!:j
I also have a cheque to pay in and £100 to claim back from the vet! This was a nice surprise as I had forgotten about it so a large hole has been made in the ring shortfall, Phew:T
is all I have to say on that, £86 spent in Mr T last night most of it sensible and low so that should last a while, just need eggs and veg from the farm shop now
Things are looking a little more achievable now Thank God
Runs off to chant "must not take eye off the ball, must not take eye off the ball, must not.......":D:D

Glad you think things are achievable :)

Looking forward to seeing you reach the £10k mark and then it will soon be 50% of target and downhill from thereon in :D

BTW do not take eye off the ball, do not take eye off the ball, do not.......

Thanks for the reminder DT it must have worked !!
Because, I have knocked off a month from my DFD (now Feb 17!) :j:j
I have passed the 10K mark!! :j:jAND I have lost a pound, :D:D So DT if you could post more frequently it would be much appreciated :T

Took DS out to the river last night and spent a very relaxing evening reading my book while he went off for a paddle with his friends, tonight he is due at the pool and after my efforts at the weekend in the moonwalk I shall be off for a gentle run, my weight loss has taken a back seat while I did the final few training walks as trying
not too eat yet having enough energy to complete anything over 16 miles is a balance I struggle with every time, however no excuse now I'm over half way and would like to see it through

The payment made yesterday came out of the money I made from the car sale, I have a little left however need to see how things pan out until the end of the month then I will be able to
pay off another chunk,:D:D having a very positive day today

Hugs to all feeling not so up, and cheers to those who are happily bobbing away

Not much to report today but I'm happy with that!

Ball tonight so off the the hairdressers (still can't get used to having a budget for this but it makes so much difference) and the ball is paid for by work :D:D

House clear up tomorrow and operation ironing, may be snatch a quick run and some budgeting to see if a holiday can be fitted in sometime this year oh and am going to plant my baskets too (I know they are a bit of an extravagance but they make such a difference and it's one area of gardening that I have actually mastered
God how glam do I sound but it's much needed:cool:

See you on the other side of the weekend xx
