Yes DT I had a most enjoyable lunch time faffing and fiddling!!
Lovely meal with DH last night now back to reality, nothing much money saving today apart from a NSD
Roast chicken salad for dinner tonight and another 6 miles to fit in somewhere along the way, oh and some work too
Started checking out car insurance ready for May when it's due I have put the money aside so can pay outright that will reduce the monthly overheads by £74 Hurrah!:D
And I have been quoted 356 and had expected £450 so will have another £100 extra
:D
Feeling very positive after all that, hope the same goes for everyone else xx£112121.02 10 Years and counting!Target in 2011 £22K /£10646.97 DFD Feb 201742Lbs /23 Down 19 to go!:shocked:So now I just need to keep going!Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here

Well done on saving so much on your car insurance mine is due in June
last year it was £300 but I went through a cashback site and got it for about £225:j, dunno how much it will be this time though especially with all the increases  Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

Hello all, not much to report today, end of term for DS so will have to make sure the spending stays on track as I'm sure the grocery bill won't!!
BF the car insurances do seem to have gone up ridiculously thankfully DD got hers in just before the sex discrimination thing kicked in so at lease she'll have another 12 months under her belt (hopefully) next year and that makes a huge difference at her age
Need to sort out freezer this weekend and look at shopping list, I am doing the Moon walk again this year so have a long training walk first thing tomorrow, 14 miles :rotfl:
after that I will be mainly in the bath, followed by some pottering then a night out with friends, not drinking so it will be low spend, then on Sunday I will see what the day brings, a nice walk with the dogs and a roast dinner will probably be about it:A£112121.02 10 Years and counting!Target in 2011 £22K /£10646.97 DFD Feb 201742Lbs /23 Down 19 to go!:shocked:So now I just need to keep going!Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here

My DS recently told me how expensive it was for him for the insurance he showed me some quotes for my car...it was £8000+
He has his driving test next week and I am hoping that he will pass first time...but there is no way he will be able to afford a car and he has accepted this fact.
He really needs to be able to drive a car as he is a fully trained mechanic in June.:)
His dad has said that he will insure a car for him where he lives and can use that when he is down there. But sadly it is true that young males are more likely to have an accident
but I think the insurance costs should be on facts and not whether its male or female. Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

HELLO!!!! I'm still here but yesterday was a little bit :eek:
at work
However another card payment has been made and sig adjusted
I have decided I am going to bite the bullet and apply for a 0% card so positive vibes please!
BF my DD uses Quinn and pays about £500 for a 1.1L with 2 years NC don't know if that's good or not but compared to some I've seen it's a least doable!
Weigh in tomorrow but not holding out much hope I have strayed quite a lot lately not calorie wise but defiantly carb wise:cool:
Oh and I had some money come through for a job I did a little while ago so I treated myself at the weekend
so although not debt busting it was money neutral!
and much needed £112121.02 10 Years and counting!Target in 2011 £22K /£10646.97 DFD Feb 201742Lbs /23 Down 19 to go!:shocked:So now I just need to keep going!Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here

Morning all, BF I hope your DS passed ....will run over to your diary in a mo to investigate
Well another half pound gone and I am happy with that as DH and I had a night off for a special celebration last week and then with all my training I have had to up my calories as I was starting to feel decidedly Bleugh However that half pound puts me over half way:D:D:D so I have adjusted my sig and am off for a coffee a very happy bunny indeed
(just trying to get the balance right now!)
Nothing MS to report spent £52 in Mr A last night and am off to input the receipt into their price checker I have enough food now to last until the weekend however will need the butchers and veg man on Sat
Nothing much happening today just need to nip out and take DS for his gym induction, I have had to move him to the local one so he can get there himself as I am not allowed to go at present and I have to wait with him at the other one, which in reality is not happening so is wasting money at least this way he can be independent and benefit rather than just paying out! I did 6 miles last night and will fit in a short one while he is there Have a good day all

Thanks for asking.....unfortunately
he didn't pass and he was gutted....has already applied for his next test which isn't until May. Was something minor but its something he can work out with his driving instructor.
Hope that HOP is good and that you enjoy the time at the pictures.Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700
