One thing I have found over the many years I have been on MSE, is that I need to post *something* even if it is a really crappy day, or a day when there is nothing more than "Monday again, hope you all have a good day and that the sun is shining where you are" type thing to put down.

it keeps my focus - even if I think there is nothing relevant to say, it is reminding me that I really am getting in control of my finances, or that I need more work doing to them, or whatever.

So, even on the bad days, post something, somewhere - even if it is not on your own diary.....it really does make a difference!

I agree Hypno06. I loss interest in my own diary and now just add my random thoughts to everyone elses! :o Luckily no one seems to have minded.

Have a hug funny - we have all felt like that at some point and you have done so well this far x

Nobody will EVER mind people posting random thoughts on their diaries - it is what gets them through!

As long as people are posting somewhere, that is the main thing - it is what makes the MSE community so successful, and certainly it is what helped me get rid of my mahoosive debt!!

  • I agree with the others ...

Hypno has been through so much and whilst I used to follow her diary I took myself off for a while but have caught up with her new diary although for years was a lurker more than a poster...

SO a card payment has gone out and I topped it off with my bugeted amount so that's another £130 down (less the interest of course!)
I need to start looking around to see if I can find a low LOB card to transfer to, any ideas?

NSD yesterday but I have had to pay out for DS subs for the year (cubs) and need to pay for the dogs jabs so fairly expensive day all round!

Morning! Just checked the bank and my newly instated savings account has increased today!!
It's not strictly savings but money put aside for insurance tax christmas etc and as of today I have enough to pay for the car insurance
This is currently costing 73/month!!! so when it is finished next month I will have that extra to play with :T

I also recieved a refund I have been waiting for and a dividend cheque from an isa so together that is £46 to pay in that I can then knock off tomorrow:D

Hope everyone else has a good day xx

Good news on the refund and dividend. I am waiting for money (a Quidco payment which is ready and ebay sales from yesterday). Its very frustrating. I dont know which I like more actually transferring the amount to my credit card or updating my spreadsheet :D
