  • Goingontolong, I seem to have been here so many times and manage to keep track and then get sidetracked, hence the diary, I like your way of keeping track day by day!

DT, thanks for the smilies makes me realise I need to get back to the gym, what with one thing or another I haven't been since Thursday, and I can't bear to think I'm paying and not getting value for money :D

So I have just realised I have no C Tax to pay this month :T and so that can go to the pot, although I have had a few unexpecteds this month so I think it will be half to them and half to the pot, I see no point in using it all to pay off the card and then running up an overdraft!
Also 5.26 from Quidco so that will go in when it turns up. Shopping last night was £15 so today should be a NSD

    Have a good time all
    xx

  • So NSD day acheived yesterday (also today hopefully)
Mortgage paid first one of new so was a little more than I expected due to set up fees  so much for my extra from the council tax
Anyway the quidco money has also been paid and sig updated accordingly, I even put some bits on e-bay last night! :money:

I really must keep this up!

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Chev, hope all is going well thanks for the support, I have stalked your tales over the years and am flattered :D

SO nearly the end of the week and another 2Lbs down! that means the first stone has gone
I have changed the way I note my payments in my sig
    1) Because I was using snowball incorrectly!
    2) 1 card is for DH work expenses and gets lots paid on and off each month so it was looking like I was making monster payments but not acctually getting anywhere

So now I have a total paid off and balance left to go, I am also going to take a leas out of Benben's book and put my DF/MF date.

NSD day yesterday (Hurrah) and sofa payment went out today so another 90 off the bottom line, I always find this quite a positive payment as it will be the first one to finish in 5 months.

    Have a good day all

  • Every time I think I am on top of things something comes along and bites me in the ***!
Payment to the bank went out today from some charges last month Just through being badly organised REALLY there is NO excuse!!!:mad:
So I have noted it down "found some money" the old phone that I sold and put that to it, it will mean I dont get to pay off as much of the debt as I would have liked but if I just keep going this sort of thing will become less and less

Have a good weekend all, we have guests so wont be arount much

Enjoy your weekend with your guests! I hope they are better behaved than mine were last weekend :rotfl:

  • :rotfl:Hypno, my guests were indeed well behaved, but only due to being full of cold, much chatting and laughs were had and plans put in place for a trip next year

On the spending front not as low as I would have liked but in budget so not all bad, I do need to get my head around the fact that I can't do this all at once. If I cut us down to nothing it wont last and I'll be back to square one.
Card payment went out today so have duly updated my sig and only need to find a few pounds to get rid of April 2017!!

Had a poorly dog yesterday and was bracing myself for a vet bill throwing me right over, however she seems fine today so that takes the pressure off

    Enjoy today!

  • Woo Hooo I could quite get used to this, NSD day yesterday although as the kids are at home for half term I need bread and milk to stoke the boiler!
Nothing else to report apart from the fact that pay day seems along time comming although it is only a short month!!

Off to see the specialist today so hoping for a non invasive outcome, they messed it up royaly last time and the GP asked why I didn't want to go back to the same man!!!

  • Another NSD, that's two in a row!!!!
Apart fro that nothing on the horizon today at least, need to do a food shop tomorrow, but that will be out of next months budget as I am working
this weekend and we will have run out of food for sure by then!

Hope nobody drowns in all the rain, thoughts and prayers to anyone with loved ones in NZ
