Hi Sim, i dont know how old you are, but however old there is always a way out, i heard a pensioner the other day in debt and her husband had passed, but whatever the situation, you wont get locked up and they cannot take off you what you havent got, but obviously you are a the beginning of sorting your financial problems out which is always a stress, however for every low there will be a high, although it may take years. Contact a free debt management company and they will help you to live and pay a little of your debt. Its tough i know, often all our problems seem to come at once, and i know that telling you there will be a girl meant foryou that will make you happy one day, doesnt help you today. And love in this stressful world we live in today lots of us turn to drink and other things, what i would say is contact a local support group, dont be too proud, what have you got to lose and you never know, i want to talk to you say in 6 months and you feel totally different. A year ago i felt as low as you, things WILL get better i promise just give it time, YOU ARE WORTH IT, good luck x

Sorry for not having been on here for a while.

Been in rather a dark place, but am ok now.

Finally have a plan in place, for tackling my debts / bills / pressing matter of rent arrears come Monday.

Am back in touch with my AA friends too
