4 maybe 5 hundred KFC's in the UK? I'm guessing a few people have had bad service. You probably want to provide more information about the bad service you've received to see if people have had the same problems. Personally though it costs about a fiver to eat in KFC so basically what do you expect?

I never realised that the level of service you receive is dependent on how much money you were spending !

Spending £5 or £50 customers still deserve to be served the same way !

Why do people go and eat that over priced, processed, total crap?

That goes for all the "big" name High Street takeaway's.

If consumer's knew what they were actually eating, they would not touch it with a barge pole.

To be fair I broke the habit of a lifetime today and hunger drove me into a mcdonalds in Slough.

Only planned to pop to the loo and buy a coffee for the road but bloke behind till was brilliant and decided to stay for lunch.

Food was still poor but the one thing that always impresses me at mcdonalds is they have a plan and a process and bearing in mind the raw material (in terms of people) they have to work with (both employees and customers) they are very efficient.

If only the burgers were better......

what a load of rubbish. you get what you pay for. Go to an expensive restaurant where the staff are well trained you expect a good level of service. At KFC you expect cheap food and at best average service.

In fairness, a lot of what you are paying for with a premium meal is premium service - premium surroundings too, and ingredients, but the level of training of the chef and the invisible effortless attentiveness you get from great service cost money. Now I'm not saying you should be treated badly at kfc (Kan't Find the Chicken?!) not at all, but I would expect dazzlingly different standards of service from Le Manoir au Quat Saisons and a motorway cafe, for instance. And I'd expect the prices to be very different too.
