What's going cheap, nearly half price, lots of items

Not had positive experience with this company.
Ordered 2 items ,a bin that arrived very badly damaged.Which they refunded .
Also set of phones ,which had clearly been used (someone else had saved numbers into the memory),also would only work with a loud hissing noise. Returned items at my own cost (postage has not been refunded yet!).They sent me another set,only this time it had full details of someone else included on a flyer,and items were quite greasy/dirty. I returned them as directed, and got refunded the postage this time,but not received a refund for the phones. Out of pocket about £20.:mad:
A bit hit and miss me thinks.

I just ordered this week and recieved my order in full and working order 2 days later and am really pleased!

So are the kids with their new sandpit...hehehe

Update:
Re poor experience,and service. It appears I was a little hasty re complaining I had not received a refund for returned item.
Refund now received,though a little slow.

:mad: Ordered 6 items from this site. 4 electricals and a luggage set. all 4electrical items have got serious faults.

1) Blender/processor: described as "mark in glass"
TRUTH: a crack in the glass!! very unsafe to use. Potential safety hazard.

2) cd player: "minor scratches"
TRUTH: skips tracks and get stuck every 5 to 10 minutes. need to be tilted towards an angle in order to work properly.

3) curling tongs: no description of fault
TRUTH: does not heat up properly. very dangerous.

4) Iron: "small scratches on plate"
TRUTH: no steam whatsoever coming out. very temperamental. signs of continuous use. (looks like someone took it out of their house and sold it on the website)

the only thing that is of an acceptable standard is the luggage set. (thought the description was box missing, there was a big scratch ont he front of it. UGly, but still bearable.)

3 emails, no replies. no answer to calls. been trying to get to them since 12.30pm tuesday.

very poor service, and a waste of my time and money

I was advised to do so by a neighbour as well.

Trouble is...the posts above shows that though some items are basically useless, but the issues can normally be resolved with their CS. (asking them to take back the rubbish, and get a replacement.refund).

the posts above says that they may also take some time to get back to you. (maybe coz they need to get back to everyone that they dealt with?? ) dont want to file a complaint with trading standard, and then discovered that they got back to me on the same day offering a replacement.

Will have to wait and see on this one. if i dont get an answer by next week, i will have to go to trading standards. There were deliberate misrepresentation as to the faults of the good. 4 out of 5 goods are not gfit for the purpose which was described as well. ......

i ordered 3 items a while ago the glass lamp came in pieces and then i ordered a stepper, this was in cracked, was given my money back for lamp and sent another stepper.....again this was broken tehy sent out another again......and guess wot this was broken too not as bad as the others!!
