Keys and Gray were stupid to make these comments knowing they were being taped but there is nothing to suggest so far that they would have rubbished the quality of of the girl in questions ability to do her job during a game and I highly doubt they really believed the PL would have employed someone to run the line who did not know the offside rule.

I take it you haven't seen the You Tube video of Mr Gray asking his fellow presenter to put her hand down his trousers when you write.

I don't know if it is just me but I saw an advert for the Times showing their most read stories.

1)Sky presenters suspended from duty over sexism row.

2)Why women love to pose naked.

Haven't we got this all wrong?

GRAY was sacked? shouldn't the person responsible for releasing the clips, be sacked.

No-one would have been offended if it wasn't for that person, would they?

If Mr Gray had made a porno film, would they show that, explaining that they HAD to get rid of him because he made that film?

Yes I have seen it. Pretty crude it was but I have not heard anything to suggest Charlotte Jackson complained to Sky about Andy Gray before the clips came out and I have read nothing to say she found the comments offensive. She even seems to be laughing at the start of the clip. I heard and seen similar banter by both men and women in the offices I have worked it. The reality is people know when and who to say these things to and I know few who would make these sort of comments to anyone who would find them offensive.

It wasn't so long ago Charlotte Jackson was on Talk Sport being perved over by Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy. She was even asked to play a game called swallow or spit if I remember rightly. She didn't seem bothered then as I suspect she is fully aware that here looks had a huge part in her getting where she is now.

How many female commentator or match reporter do Sky have. On sky sports there is only one older female presenter whilst there are lgood of men. Most the females look like they are ex models and I'm yet to see one who is overweight.

The reality is that if all office conversation was taped I doubt anyone would be in work as we would all be sacked.

Added to the fact that a number of sky sports news lady presenters have done lads mag photo shoots...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

We will ignore that :p eww can you imagine is Richard Keys did one with his hairy hands.. *boke* :rotfl:

Gray said something to Jackson about tucking his mike down here for him which was an addition to something else said that the clip didn't show, I have no idea what that was but Jackson was laughing, looked hapy enough then her focus chnged to the sound engineer bloke who was sorting her mike for her. There has been no statement or inclanation that Jackson reported or complained about Gray only that when 'sky' became aware of the footage on youtube they felt grays behaviour was inappropriate so sacked him. I personally think it was a witch hunt. I really genuinely struggle to see how an employer can sack someone for something that appears to be 'banter' when such exchanges are encouraged on air.

on to the whole sexism thing, if Gray had asked Keys to tuck his radio mike in for him would it still be sexist? After all he didn't say anything specific or even that crude. If the comment wouldn't of been sexism if said to Keys why not?? If Gray was an open homosexual would the reaction be the same? If Jackson was a 50 something plump battleaxe would the reaction be the same?
