Sexism in football

Were they down the pub, or broadcasting a sports program to the nation?
edit:
I am (annoying) feeling a little PC over this, being offended on someone else's behalf, but regardless of sexism, it's just not polite.
Down the pub, ok, but broadcast on TV it's just crass and rude, and an embarrassment to the male gender.
they were getting ready to broadcast, standing at the side of a football pitch preparing to film one of the little trailer things you know the join us at 3pm today for XXX city against YYY united live from ZZZ park. Just no different from two guys, or girls in a pub. A works van, queue in a supermarket. I did say it was crude but not sexist.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

They weren't broadcast on TV and the comments that Burton said weren't bad at all - look at them on YouTube. He said "he says she's a looker, I don't know whether to trust his opinion". That isn't a slight against the girl that they were talking about at all. Yes, Gray's comments were sexist, but as they weren't broadcasting and Burton was simply saying that somebody had passed comment about another person being good-looking I fail to see the issue with him.
Are you telling me that if a good looking guy goes into a female dominated arena, such as a hairdressers, nobody is going to say "wow, he's good looking"? And if they do, is it a crime? If so the modeling industry is in big trouble.0 -
They were talking about an ex-girlfriend. Key's comments were akin to a teenager down the pub, if it had been about Redknapp's wife he'd probably have chinned him.
I wondered because Ruud Gullit is there so is Graeme Souness and TBH not seen them on sky for a bit although I tend to watch Scotland unless its my beloved Everton
. Jamie looks a bit younger so wondered if it was pre marriage to Louise MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

It's a Marylebone Cricket Club. Don't know who 'Mary Le Bone' was. Skinny Frenchwoman perhaps?
LOL, shows my cricket knowledge or lack of
The principle remains though, is it sexist to set up a "men's club"?
There's nothing to stop a "womans club" being set up.
On another point, I supported my Wife and went to all the pre-natal clases etc with the exception to the breast feeding class which I wasn;t allowed to attend
:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Yeah, he's been with her for about 10 years though, so they must be talking about someone else.
Can't believe you know who Ruud Gullit and Souness are though, you being a girl and all

The first thing any heterosexual person thinks when they meet a person of the opposite sex for the first time is "are they good looking". Fact. Sorry, but we all do. So whether you're watching Loose Women, standing chatting to a mate in the street (or before a football advert in this case), or are in the office, it's human nature.
Gray is a dinosaur. He deserves to lose his job. The same goes for Keys. I can't help but feel sorry for Andy Burton though.0 -
So when a groom turns to the best man for the ring, is it ok for the best man to say, "have you seen the t-ts on that bridesmaid! I'm having a go on that later" ?The first thing any heterosexual person thinks when they meet a person of the opposite sex for the first time is "are they good looking". Fact. Sorry, but we all do. Or is it only acceptable in certain circumstances?0 -
I'm hoping that they get a female pundit in for the future, to show Andy Gray how wrong he was, and that women really do know their stuff.
I'm not sure who I'd suggest, as long as she's got big t1t5 I'll be happy...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
