I don't think I'd want him as my solicitor then - unless he justs buries his head in the sand where his own finances are concerned?0

Having watched the first programme, only to see the subject later exposed as a publicity seeking fraud, I have put this series in my 'delete' folder.
There have been some excellent programmes, recently, focusing on debt and, more importantly, the consequences, often disastrous, of debt.
To see channel 4 'trivialise' the whole subject, purely to win audiences, and, therefore, advertising revenue is, to say the least, disappointing.
I fail to see any advantage to the public in presenting 'debt' so flippantly.
Mind you - I can be a miserable s0d - I have only watched one of the programmes and, if my views were not substantiated by the majority of posters here, I could be totally wrong.
Reality TV? Now Coronation Street :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
