I had watched the last couple of episodes, but at the end of the programme I felt like I had wasted 1/2 hour of my life watching the drivel....
It has to be the worst thing on the box at present.

I would also go as far as saying it was on par with "Pay your mortgage off in 2 years" series..... Every episode was - "you need to earn more money, get another job !!!" Its hardly rocket science is it? At least I could bear to watch the mortgage series.

    Rant over....
  • She is certainly no eye candy either........................ not like Martin :smileyhea: :blushing:

    I've been Money Tipped!
Selling the washine machine only works if you have a neurotic mother in law living round the corner who loves washing and ironing:o Not that i had to sell it i had to save for a bout 4 years to get it, well she seemed so happy ironing all the kids stuff who am i to spoil her fun:D

My OH turned it off as he was getting frustrated at the stupidity of this womble
  • Thats rubbish, you just wouldn't get £100 for a second hand washing machine, you can buy new ones for a couple of hundred, even if its a great one you're still buying a SH washing machine with no guarantee.
What do you do if you get rid of you're washing machone, buy a wash dolly and chuck everything in the bath? Then carry buckets of drippping washing out to hang on the line for a week?
They could of raised that Martins way by looking to see what they could save on any insurances or tesco deals?
  • I only watch this trash because my 9 year old loves it for some strange reason, I just sit fuming. They didn't even pick someone who was a decent actor for the car selling scene, it had 'obvious set up' written all over it. An hour of How clean is your house would fill the time in nicely!

  • The programme just looks at the quick fixes of selling assets to reduce debt but without looking at the real issues that caused the debt in the first place.

Also, I hate the name Cesarina!!!

  • I watched the first episode but it got me so angry I've never watched it since.

Just by watching it you are validating its existence folks. Vote with your feet and not watch, and email channel 4 to tell them why.

yes i agree, it was totally stupid, she walked into a town center with her jewellery and they just said yes straight away !

well i can tell you that just wouldnt happen, i make jewellery and to find a shop in the town center to sell it would be a huge challange, firstly all the shops there and multi chains and would tell you to contact head office where they would arrange a meeting with you to see your wares and ask you if you can stock throughout the country.
Another thing, she was selling her jewellery at a craft fair..where suddenly she had load of fantastic "display boards" which would of cost hundred and hundreds of pounds.

We need programs to help ordinary people budget on ordinary incomes or low incomes with realistic advice.
    Kindness costs nothing :)
