Yawn, well bored now.

I'm intrigued why someone who is an ex colleague of someone else takes it so personally that they take to the forums to defend that person when they are "attacked". And throws around all sorts of accusations with apparently no basis in fact. I have many ex-colleagues but I could not imagine doing that at all or if I did with the barely repressed passion of murdo.

But I won't try to dwell on it as it will no doubt encourage more of the same.

You have made a lot of unfounded accusations regarding members of this site. Unless you have evidence to back them up it then I cannot see any benefit in you continuing to repeat them.

What I take out of this is that there are some people (the vast majority) who take offence at the (bogus) claim that she has suggested paying private parking companies £10 -- when this is clearly not the case.

And there are some people who seem to have a basic problem with her very existence.

You seem to fall into the latter category Quentin. I'm not quite clear why this would be.

You seem to work in the insurance sector.

So do I.

Have you had some detrimental dealings with her firm regarding a claim or something? I know they are tough but I am surprised at it being so personal.

You don't make any attempt to answer the points raised about your trouble making posts, but come up with more trouble making.

I have had no dealings with her apart from on here. I have no connection with anyone or any firm that has had dealings with her.

There is no way that all the posts are abuse, if you think so then report them.

I am new around here and my original mention of LBC in post eight was entirely innocent.

What has followed has been nothing short of disgraceful in what is supposed to be a civilised and open forum.

There are a small number of keyboard warriors on here who think their views must prevail.

Any dissent is shouted down in a concerted effort which is certainly designed to intimidate, and could be seen as bullying.

Several times i have been ordered to be respectful of 'long term posters' who deserve - and will get from me - only derision.

That this lamentable state of affairs has been allowed to develop must be partly the fault of MSE management, or lack of it.

But I have a prediction for the self-styled big hitters on here.

One day, someone upstairs will realise you are harming the brand.

When that day comes, your glorious posting careers on MSE will end faster than you can type the word 'troll'.

No one said it was not, it was just pointed out that LBC's advice is not particularly well thought of on these forums, it was you that made a big thing of it.

Just where has anyone ordered you to be respectful, all that was said is that several long term posters are respected for their input into these forums.

As it was my post #10 and my other posts in this thread that has appear to cause such controversy I have not posted further in this thread, however after reading the full thread again it does appear to be two posters that are trying to disrupt the forum by accusing people of being abusive when in actual fact they were trying to help the OP by not giving advice that may not help them resolve their problem.
