What action has she taken to remove these allegedly false posts?

I reposted the post in which you accuse me of "falsely reporting" in full. Including the "bit" you seem to now suggest I omitted!

And now when asked to stand corrected you change your accusation from me reporting "falsely" to accusing me of committing libel because the advice I pointed to was bogus and fraudulent!

Probable cause as it does not represent her views but it does represent this site's "views of her views".

Someone then created a thread on MSE "Festival Park" in which she is accused of being "dumb" and "in the pockets of" the parking companies.

That would be a serious libel of someone involved in motor consumer law.

In respect of what efforts have been made to remove any such posts I would not be party to that as I am not the participant. It is arguable in any event that the damage has already been done.

I am not sure removal does any good (the bullies tried that yesterday).

Better to deal with it by exposing the miscreants for their deceits along with robust rebuttal or refutation.

Murdo, if LucyBC is so bothered by what has been said about her, why can she not come here herself to make these points? This business of you being her defender and spokesman is faintly ridiculous. Especially as it is now clear that you have not evenbothered to check your facts before making intemperate allegations.

What is obvious is that you have a problem with the standard advice to "ignore" PPC demands made on this site and seek to belittle longstanding posters who have contributed a million times more to this site than your paranoiac rantings and hostility, as "corner boys" and "parking taliban". Now there are a few choice names people could call you in return but in the end I fear "ignore" will again be the best option. If you can add anything of value to this thread, and in particular to the case of the OP which you have royally hijacked, then you will be welcome.

I don't think Lucy needs to trawl around here looking for private parking cases. As I explained to you earlier we did them -in any event- on a pro-bono basis. I don't know if she even does them any more.

She's just a lawyer that gives free legal advice on another website. Given your history in this case I expect you probably dreamed that one up as well.

Please understand I'm intrigued as to why you and others find her seeming very existence so offensive as to create an entire fallacy around her views to the extent that some idiot goes off and posts a view which is clearly not hers in her name so the falsehood gains credibility and can be endlessly repeated by you and others.

I'm genuinely interested as to why that would be.

As I mentioned earlier it strikes me as cultish behaviour and would be worthy of sociological study.

It comes over as Andy Grey - Richard Keys "accepted consensus" behaviour when even when you are wrong you think you are right if enough of your gang tell you that you are.

This thread was hijacked at post #10 and did not get back to anything other than abuse until I posted some proper advice at #45.

My point is that Lucy led the advice on this issue re the Excel cases thus members of this website beating her up on the basis of bogus parking advice (which she has never given) is both perverse and unjust.
