thanks bubbles! I have trouble walking in court shoes though than dont have an ankle strap/or a strap across the front to keep my feet in! i only have size 3 feet so getting a smaller size is not an option LOL i think im just going to sew some matching elastic across the front of the shoe and jazz it up abit LOL
£8 for shoes! cooland the photographer is right....u wont see any marks whatsoever after shes finished with it in photoshop, gets rid of blemishes etc easily!
i also have an ISA too, seems to be taking forever to save though! LOL
ha ha and im with you on the notes! i ahve them written on paper in my box, and also have a doc on the computer with various ideas on so i dont forget them!
we are having a theme tune quiz etc so have made a list of my fav theme tunes
listed songs we want for the ceremony (from our fav films...like lion king, back to the future, goonies etc LOL)
listed other stuff we want to do, pinatas, blow up animals/props, framed family member who have passed etc. i could go on forever with my list!
Id love to buy my bridesmaids dresses (hoping to get some good deals in the january sales etc!) but still need to ask her yet ha ha:dance:

If you got money to spare then there's a place called the little shoe shop in central london near baker street they also do mail order prices start at £70 :eek:and go up but they stock shoes kids size 12 to adult 3 with wide width fitting and half sizes in some sizes.:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -
Real disappointment today - the Humanist celebrant Catherine wanted rang to say her son is getting married the same day as Catherine and David so she can't do the wedding! We now have to search for another celebrant to do it - still, there is plenty of time, but she was really nice so it's a shame.
On a positive front, Catherine has been playing at making bunting - what do you think of her first efforts?

You lot have been very busy!! Congratulations on the weightloss TryingtobetheperfectHW!! :T:T
I love the bunting Debbie and Cat - never seen it done like that before! I like the subtlety of the colours. Sorry to hear about the celebrant having to cancel; I know you'll be able to find someone else soon, but it must be disappointing when you'd begun to build a relationship with them. Can you ask them if there's another celebrant they know that they could recommend?
My Mum and I started my wedding dress (FINALLY!) on Monday, but I can't seem to upload pics - I may just have to open a photobucket or flickr account! Because I'm adjusting the bodice a lot from the pattern we spent the whole day playing with cheap fabric (I bought 10 metres to ensure plenty of room for trial and error), and we have just about got it we think. A bit of fine tuning is still needed but the basic shape is there, which we were very pleased with as we didn't think we'd get so far on our first attempt! When I can show you all the pictures it really won't look like much though! Haven't started on the skirt yet, but that bit will be easier as I don't need to adjust that bit so much.
That's about all we've done in the last few weeks, but H2B and I have an appointment with the co-ordinator at our evening venue next Monday to discuss costs - really hoping that we can finalise the booking following this as we love the venue (as well as the day venue which is five minutes' walk away) but the budget is starting to look a little scary so we're trying to rein things in a bit!Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

my budget has run away and joined the circus! it was initially an £8000 wedding but because we have a four star venue, 70 day guests and 60 more in the evening its costing more than half that which brings the total to nearly double that again! its so easily done though!
registrar:£400(hopefully if prices dont go up any more, i have factored that in to this figure)
wedding rings:£400, i want tiffanys at just over £200 so h2b will have the same budget!
dress:£500, my mum will pay the extra if any
veil:£10
shoes:£8
jewellery:£10
underwear:£20
BM x5 dresses:£122
BM presents:£75
might get their shoes if i can get a bargain too no more than £20 each
groom,BM,usher,FOG,GOB,2x page boys suits,groomand page boy shoes:£585
flowers:£65
DJ:£295
invitations:£40
photographer:£500
gifts/favours:£260
insurance:£50
other:£50
anything else a friend or family member is providing so grand total minus venue/meals/drinks=..........
£3490:eek:I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
Wow everyone seemed to have done loads compared to me ! Got the save the date e-mails/cards back and after lots of discission with bestfriend and mum and OH discided to go for the cheeser option which has me and OH pearing arond the door to our house on one side in the background and our venue on the other side and then really old fashion fount for the details. (would post pic but don't how to and can't fiddle with it to remove names and other details) Now trying to check e-mails and addresses before sending them out. Also been looking for ideas on bridesmaid dresses and descided to brave the likes on London in December!:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120
