    Nutty mummy

I love 1 & 3 the best - possibly one the best - they both give you a really good shape and suit your figure!

Welcome to the thread vbt!! A few other people have joined the thread recently having only just started planning so it is most definitely do-able!

What time is your meal, and how long is your ceremony likely to last? The photos usually take longer than you think, and people are usually quite happy to hang around chatting and drinking for a couple of hours.

Thanks! The reception is at 12:30 and I think the ceremony can be 40 minutes maximum - reception drinks straight after at say 13:15, even allowing 2 hrs, that's 15:15 for the meal to start, but thinking of doing speeches first before maybe, once everyone's seated?

I forgot to mention we're having an evening buffet too, but haven't decided on the time yet - probably 21:30ish??

    Morning all

Feeling really stressed with it all. Firsly the venue arn't returning my calls or emails. This started almost 2 weeks ago and when I finally got round to speaking to the wedding co-oridnator the other day he sounded really evasieve and didnt really want to talk. I followed up the call with another email asking him to confirm when he had checked to see if the things I wanted were in place, that email wasn't answered either. Also when I was last there I asked if i could see the suite, i was taken to view it and a mans trousers and so on were on the floor. the room was clearly booked out and didn't feel comfortable at all._ I'd go higher up the chain to the manager of the property/hotel/venue explain what you've had problems with attach the e-mails and state when you called. Also check your contact.

I got a call from the hairdressers yesterday saying the stylist that was doing my braidesmaids hair isn't in that day and hes the only other person that can do up do's. Theres not enough time for her to go to the stylist im having as she does up do's so now all she can have is a blowdry and nothing else.
_ I would ask them then could they recommend someone else that can do what you originally argreed to or ask if seeing as they may have a trainee who needs experience doing hairup providing you have a trail (which given the problems they have cause i would suggest they do it for free). also providing it's nothing too compilcated. Surely the trainee if you're happy with the trail could do it under close supervision of the sytlist. The other thing is could they not arrange for your appointment to be earlier to what you want.

Unfortunatly I don't have anyone that can help :( I'm getting married on 1st Sept so not much time to get everything together. Just recieved some gloves for the wededing, there not as described and not what I wanted to trying to find some nice cheap ones asap. Seared ebay with no joy.

There short staffed that day and theres nothing they can do :( just a basic blow dry and thats it. Also were the first appt of the day so can't go in any earlier.

Eventually the wedding co-oridnator called back hourse after he should have done but oh says atleast he called. I just don't feel very confident at all with them.
