Definitely go and try them on again though before making a decision.
lol I know...is it a bad thing? lol...i only ask because sometimes you see a bride that will post pics like this and you tell them what flatters their shape only for them to go and pick the worst one from the list, and you feel like screaming NOOOO! LOL so I need to know if thats something im doing right now.
Im just IN LOVE with the very small tight ruffles, it was the LIGHTEST wedding dress I have ever tried on, and its just so fun, I can see me running around the zoo not having to hump around lots of material with me etc
BUT I also need to know if It doesnt suit me
I have to agree that the 3rd one was the most slimming of them all, and it felt really good when she was putting it on (got a little flutter!) and its a favourite of alot of people, but something makes me look at it and say its the more 'traditional' of the group. I want fun and quirky to fit the day.
I certainly dont dislike the third, its a strong contender (it was the price and the word 'rush' that put me off) BUT now I know I can get it for £940 its in the running again. But SOMETHING is pulling me back towards the flouncier ruffles of the first two.
I need brutal honest opinions...I know the 2nd makes me look shorter and the 3rd makes me look taller but I just want to get the right dress for the right day LOL its so difficult!
It doesnt help when you see photo shoots like this and fall in love with the ruffles!

Right, you want brutal opinions, i'm you're woman
1 - OH likes that out of all of them, I personally think it makes your hips look wide.
2 - Looks very pretty, from the front it's nice and slimming and from the back it has a nice feel to it. It migh be the way the photo is taken, but your bum looks rounder in it, but not in a bad way
3 - My fav out of the lot, Makes you look tall, slim and gorgeousLooks like it hasn't got the train at the back which isn't what you wanted was it? But there is barely any bling, the 2nd has more bling for you. But the shape is flattering.
4 - Makes you look very short. I guess because it's a long dress. This was the one i didn't like the most out of all of them.
All you ladies are probably going  "I can't believe you just said that" but you did ask for brutal opinions nuttyWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
ha ha no thats totally what I want.
Its funny how lots of people are swaying towards the third
Yes your right I didnt want a train, but I can totally live with a ruffle train...so lovely!
i dont think im going to get my cake done in time to go tomorrow, but i really need to seeing as they all need a decision by Friday! lol
thank-you for the honest comments:dance:

I'm guessing you're not a size 8 (as you mentioned you'd found a 12) as I found the 3rd one on eBay for £400.What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

ha ha yeah I saw that too! Theres also one on 'sell my wedding dress' in a size 8 and size 10. But the woman in the shop said I would need a size bigger and i THINK it was a 10 I tried on..i cant be sure.
I can get the third dress for £940 though which is cheaper than £1800! But I need to let her know by friday. (its a 12) and can be sent up from Surrey.
Im finding it difficult, because so many people like the third, and it felt really slimming and special, but my heart keeps pulling me back to those tight ruffles
and then my brain pulls me back to the cheapest one thinking 'youve already spent over £800 already on the old dress' lol:dance:

Thought I'd post on here and say hello and good luck to every one getting married in September!
We got engaged about 6 weeks ago and have booked our wedding for 29 September this year (I'm not pregnant!) which seemed to horrify loads of wedding dress shops that I went in to be told its 'just not possible' to arrange a dress (or anything else for that matter) in that timescale. Nonsense!
I eventually got one in the Manchester branch of Pronuptia (now called Mia Sposa I think?) - its gorgeous and the staff in there were fantastic - really friendly and helpful. Total contrast to Berketex in London who were awful and I came out of there on the verge of tears, worst experience ever!
We've booked our ceremony and reception at Victoria Baths in Mancheter and the registrar's all sorted - we just need to give the notice of intention to marry, but have just moved house so need to wait until we have some utility bills to prove residency.
How are everyone's plans going? Our ceremony is at 12:30 and we're a little bit worried about how to occupy people all day? Does anyone have any ideas for (cheapish) entertainment - we're having a DJ after the meal, but before then we wanted to do something (it'll be mostly adults with a few kids here and there).
We're having drinks and canap!s after the reception and then a 3 course wedding breakfast (with the wedding cake as the pudding) - found a fantastic little place in West Didsbury that were excellent value and a lovely bloke who runs it who 'got' exactly what we wanted when we spoke; neither they or the venue charge corkage either so we're arranging our own bar. It's a place called Thyme Out Deli in case anyone's looking for caterers in that area.
What sort of timescale have you all been working to? Everyone I've spoken to seems to think only having a few months to plan would be hard work, but I'm really enjoying it; I don't think I cold cope with spending 2 years doing it all! Mind you, we're doing a lot ourselves and aren't spend too much in the scheme of things, considering the 'average' cost of a wedding is 17k or something - wow!!0 -

This is a once in a lifetime experienceGo for the dress your heart is pulling you to. The 2nd dress was slimming as well, and you love the ruffles so go for it
Which felt lighter, as you don't want a heavy dress to cart around the Zoo. The 2nd dress looks nice and lightWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
the second dress is the lightest wedding dress i have ever tried on. I dont think you will believe JUST how light until you put it on!. The ruffles look heavy but it must be the material its made from, its very light
x
I keep thinking about it all the time but was so unsure as lots of people picked the third..LOL:dance:

Yeah but I must admit I pcked the third because I liked it, It did look good on you but That's the one I most preffered. Both dresses suited you
You have to go with the one YOU like. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
XD thank-you.
Decision time tomorrow. Im going to have to really concentrate when I have them on tomorrow, how they would look once altered. Im taking my hoop with me too as I wasnt wearing one in any of the pics.
Ill have to see how the dress 'moves' whether my back fat squeezes out or if my boobs try to escape etc LOL:dance:
