Aaaaaah!! I've just realized that I have 6 free Saturdays and 8 free Sundays before the wedding!

My calendar is never this full- why have I chosen the most inconvenient time ever to get a social life!

Oh hell, I haven't even considered how many free days I have left!! Probably best not to work it out... *ignoranceisblissignoranceisblisslalalalalala....*

Hey guys!! Half of you probably have no idea who I am LOL I used to post on this thread till I lost track and never came back because I feel bad just barging in when ive missed out on SOOO much! But Fiona likes to keep upto date with me on my blog and asked me to pop in :) so here i am!

Some of you may recall 'a crazy woman getting married in a zoo' yep thats me :)

I dont want to post a massive update to what Ive been doing, as that isnt fair. So for anyone who is interested, this is my most recent wedding related post:

    http://missnightmares.blogspot.co.uk/2012_05_01_archive.html

SOOOOO what have you guys been upto?! Im such a visual person..so any photos of wedding stuff you have feel free to show them to me! I LOVE pictures :) Helps me understand better lol

Anyone noticed just how quick everything is coming round?! i still feel so unprepared!

Hurrah!! I knew my nagging would have an effect evenutually!! Welcome back! :D

I can't believe how quickly time is going; I'm still on May's To Do list, and am so far behind on my dress; it was supposed to be finished by the beginning of May but I haven't even got to the lining yet!

My dress photos can be seen here: http://photobucket.com/whitesapphire81 password Sep2012
I've also got a few other wedding-related photos here: http://s1135.photobucket.com/albums/m637/whitesapphire81/Miscellaneous%20Wedding%20Stuff/

It will all be fine, and we are getting through the list, and the dress will be finished, but it's very easy to feel a little overwhelmed...

On a positive note, I've started receiving RSVPs now, with very few no's (unfortunately one of the no's is my favourite auntie :( can't be helped though).

    How is everyone else doing?

Its coming along though! lovely little detail on the shoulder straps.
Your invites are lovely too! Very posh :)

Weve had a few RSVP's too, but I could do with alot more! We can only have 60 there, and even though ive put 31st July as the RSVP deadline, I kind just want to know final numbers now ha ha.

I have majority sorted, but still lots of bits to get. Infact im wondering if you guys could help?

My OH has 17" neck...but all the shirts with a 17" neck are like tents on his body ha ha.
Ive tried getting 17" tailored fit, and 17" slim fit...but both seem to still be too big?!

    Still to do:
    Groomsmens shirt
sons purple converse (size 8 (age 6)) if anyone fancies helping me find the cheapest LOL
    Cupcakes toppers to make
    wedding cake to make (dummy)
    real 'kitchen' cakes to make
    extra sweet jar
extra sweets and desserts (tub of purple millions) donuts, brownies etc
    fluff up all the pompoms
Sort the DJ out with film quiz material
    print film quiz sheets
sort out the prize for the winner
gifts for best man and bridesmades...ideas please!? so stuck!
    flower for my hair
    jewellery (finding this REALLY difficult)
fixing some elastic on my shoes so they dont come off!
compiling music for the ceremony (5 pieces) i know what i want, finding it difficult to get the right versions etc
sorting my skin and weight out for the wedding!
order of service packs are 95% done
writing out the vows we want
    finalizing design for flowers
    pictures into photoframes
more prizes to put int he pinata (and a blindfold)

so yeah....pretty much still ALOT to do in my busy schedule! As I do cake design, wedding photography and avon as well as a mummy LOL
Next week I have a cake to make for a wedding....which im also doing the photography for too ha ha

what is everyones elses list of 'stuff to do' I find keep making lists over and over again makes me try and get more of it done LOL

I'll post my To Do list soon - probably be lots of errors as I'll be typing through tears of panic...

Tracey, could you buy a 17" collar shirt, then get it altered professionally?

I probably could but was just trying to be lazy and cheap by buying one ha ha.
White shirts are drastically different from each shop. So where ever we get the grooms from we have to get the groomsmens from too.

    Tracey,

just a though, does he have to have the top button done up? Just asking as we have had a similar problem with my oh shirt. He ordered a 16" slim fit from Next & the body & arm fit were fab but he could not do the top button up. So we tried a 16.5" & the difference in the body & arms were massive far too big. So we tried the 16" again with his cravat without the top button fasten & it works great. You can't tell the button is not done up when it's on. I guess it depends how far off the fit is but maybe worth a try.

fab thank-you so much!! Ill be taking a trip to Next tomorrow! lol
They are only wearing ties so im sure that would cover it up. Even though your not going to see much of the shirt i dont want it all bunched up with baggy sleeves LOL and thats a slim fit? good stuff! x

Welcome alwaysonthego:D Look forward to hearing all your plans.

Fiona the dress is looking good, hope you get all your rspv back that you want.

Going to try my dress again tomorrow, can't wait to see how it's coming on:j I have another two people who say they might be able to come to the wedding now which is great but they are waiting to see if the holiday prices drop enough, so it could be really last minute, I know there is plenty of time yet but just book it please:o I should really write a to do list as I know there are things starting to come up that we need to do. 1st one is appointment on Tuesday with the registar to get our CNI to say we are free to marry:j

It's a lot easier for me having a wedding planner with us going abroad, she is taking all the stress for us & sorting everything out:D Although as I said there are somethings we need to do so i'd better look at it, before I realise there is something major i've missed. However the planner is always emailing saying what is going on & when she needs info for so were ok.

Sorry to hear you have problems with your dress, is it too late to sort. mine is been made as it's a destination one so love going each time & seeing it coming along, will get some more pics & post them next week when I get home.

Right better do some work as I want to finsih early today:D

a wow thats absolutely fab! Tell me where to go if you like, id totally understand! But what does having a planner cost? is it one price or is it dependent on what they do?! I have absolutely no idea! It sounds amazing though!

aww sounds lovely! and when its being made to fit you you know its going to look fab!

Long story short with mine I got pushed into buying mine within 2 minutes of a wedding show - was told if i didnt get it now i wouldnt get it at all (bearing in mind this was last year!) so i bought it thinking if it was the 'one' and i didnt know it, i would be gutted if i missed out.
So it finally came in (i had only tried 4 dresses on at the time) i brought it home after not wanting to spend anymore money in the shop with how they treated me. Luckily i found a fab local one wiling to take me under their wing. Trouble is i tried it on again for alterations the other week. Its nice...but I dont LOVE it. It is supposed to be the most exciting part of the wedding process for a woman, and so far its the worst experience ive had! :(

other people like it - and ive bought it now so theres nothing really i can do x

    happy early finish! x
