O no thats really bad, I was in a similar situation a few weeks ago so know exactly how you feel:mad: Really hope you can get everything changed over & your guests are all ok with it. I hope they are going to give you a big discount for messing you about.

What a nightmare alwaysonthego!! I'd have been fuming... Glad you got it sorted fairly quickly though; I would definitely be asking for something a little extra as compensation for your trouble, stress and inconvenience.

I've bought the Icing for the wedding cake. Saved 50p per kg which is a bargin as on Ebay they're selling 5kg's of white fondant for £20 and I picked up 4 for £2.50 each Good old sainsburys. Really need to make the fruit layers so I can feed them so they're nice and alcoholic for the wedding

Still can't fit into my dress Weighed myself the other day and haven't lost anything. thought I was doing really well as well, so I had a huge chocolate bar I really don't know what to do, buy another one or just keep trying to fit in it....

My corset has arrived for the boudoir photoshoot. Just need to book that now. Need to arrange my makeup for the morning though as I don't know how to put makeup on.

Bought OH's suit and shirt the other week so at least he's all sorted.

OH has decided we're keeping the sweet centerpieces as he prefers them to the orchids

I had a quick meeting with the venue on Wednesday to run through how I want things to look and make sure they were ok setting everything up... I didn't realise how long my list of demands was until I saw it all written down :rotfl:

OH is on his stag holiday in Serbia at the min, they left early hours on Wednesday & get back on Monday - from the pictures I've seen on FB they're having a LOT of fun... It's so cheap that apparently they're only spending £25 a night! :eek:

Work has been horrendously busy in the last couple of weeks so wedding stuff has gone out of the window a bit, hopefully get back on track soon!

Its a while since ive been on, i was gutted everytime i read posts on how well prepared you all were i started to panic!
Im gonna take some time out to catch up tomorrow.
Anyway I need help!
My sister has dropped out of being a bridesmaid, a massive stress! tears and everything!
Ive bought all the dresses and the shoes, and i discussed with all 4 of my bridesmaids to make sure they were ok. Anyway it came to trying on the dress and my sis wanted to wear heels, which may of been ok, but id already bought the shoes, and everything fitted, anyway she said she doesnt wear flats (she does all day for work) and she didnt want to have sore feet for her going on holiday the next day!! errrr wont heels make you have sore feet???
Then she asked me what jewellery i wanted them all to wear, i said just something delicate around the neck, cos the dresses are quite blingy, and i had already bought them all shamballa style bracelets as gifts, so nothing over the top......oooooo she wasnt happy, and sent me a message saying that she was being stripped of everything she likes, my daughter sent a text to her asking her to wear what i asked and that it was her mam and marks day...she also called her a diva! lol
she wasnt impressed at that so dropped out.
Anyway i travelled to the America to be bridesmaid for her, and wore the most ridiculous shoes for her, cost me a bloomin fortune!
So i have a really good friend who cried with joy when i asked her! i just wish i had asked her first!
So now i have a spare pair of shoes in a 4 and need a size 6.
If anybody is out and about and is in matalan, can you have a look to see if these shoes are available?

Nene, I'm so sorry, I have no idea how that happened!! I have re-added you, and you are most definitely still part of this group! I can only think that I accidently deleted your name when I moved alwaysonthego to the 15th... Please accept my apologies!

What do you need to check with the venue? I'd be giving them a quick call just to check they have all the info they need. We still need to check stuff with ours, and three months is plenty of time to get stuff sorted.

Re dress; keep going! OK, so you had a chocolate bar, but that will make no difference whatsoever on its own, and weight loss plateaus are to be expected from time to time. What's your plan? Are you with Weight Watches et al, or a self-devised strategy? I want to drop a few pounds and tone up, and am just trying to cut down on sugar and fat, and upping the excercise. We'll help to keep you motivated if you'd like? You still have 3 months to go, and a lot can be done in that time. Just don't starve yourself; you want to be healthy on your wedding day!

Oh t*ovi, I'm sorry about your sister, she sounds like a proper drama queen! Good on your daughter for standing up for you, and I'm glad that you have a good friend who appreciates the honour of being a bridesmaid, instead of making it all about what they want. It's a shame that weddings can bring out the worst in people sometimes.

I went into The cedars today and apparently I have to make an appointment with the bloke to speak about the wedding so I guess that's what we'll do.

I'm currently doing Xbox Zumba on my own. It's such an amazing game. So much fun. The kids love laughing at me doing it

finally done the invites YAY my god have they nearly broken me the last few days though i just couldnt get the ribbon glued nicely with the glue gun, it kept going wispy so id clean the nozzle and by the time i went to stick it down itd be too hard to stick! double sided sticky tape did the job though!



the first card you can see in the pocket has the hotel/travel info on, the secong is the 'non' gift list and the third is dietary requirements/ rsvp to..info on

Yeah the matalan has the wrong colour only in a size 3
