Oddly enough, the Lexus is a cheap car to insure.

I can't believe of all the hours I've wasted getting insurance quotes on silly cars I'll never buy I've never done one on a Lada! Guess what I'm going to do now... :p

EDIT: Forget the Lada, according to autotrader and ebay there are precisely zero roadworthy ones for sale...

How about a Skoda Felicia or Fabia. No one is going to steal it and about as cool as setting fire to your little sister.

Felicia is worth very little but make sure it has power steering (early version don't).

Apparently not for this OP. They just tried a Mondeo and it was even worse.

OP: Where do you live? Is it Bradford?

I too have been looking at insurance quotes for my bro. he just passed and is 18. WOW!!! I could not believe the price.

    For a corsa 1l W reg which costs £700 I got £2600, for a fiesta 1.3l i got £3000!!!!

I thought i was seeing things. I thought it would be up in the £1000 range but this is ridiculous money. how can a youngster afford this?
