what!?! lol how long ago did u order that and didn't you already pick one up?
I did some joules shopping this weekend....bought a lovely grey t-shirt..love it!0 -
I ordered the caramel Holborn bag when the 70% sale first happened; the courier didn't show for the next day delivery, phoned Joules, apparently mega confusion at Joules and item was not despatched. Second courier no showed, another phone call to Joules..out of stock suddenly despite others on here getting this bag before me. Offered the Emerald bag instead, their computers went down, guess what duplicate order and charged twice. Arranged for the emerald bag to be delivered in store on a next day delivery as fed up waiting for unreliable couriers. Joy of joys, bag didn't arrive at the shop, another phone call to Joules, oh dear replacement bag out of stock. A lovely manager finally sorts it out and hand picks the bag and despatches it herself on a next day delivery. The Emerald bag finally arrives in store 5 days late and after yet another phone call. A week ago I was charged for another bag, completely out of the blue, another phone call to Joules for a refund. Now the original caramel bag has shown up in store?????!!! I will buy it as it is still at the reduced price of £26 and I have £30 of vouchers to use which were given to me by Joules for all the mess ups. A nice Mum's day gift for my Mum I think.
But omg Faber what a nightmare just for a bag..I love the Joules clothes but to be honest I'll restrict myself to shopping in store only and NOT ONLINE. I have to say the staff were terribly apologetic and eager to help. I have 2 dedicated managers and their direct phone numbers who finally sorted all of this out and a promise to hand pick anything I order in the future, so customer service wise they were spot on.0 -
Oh bloody hell...went to pick up the bag all excited only to find that the studs on it have oxidised and have rusted and there are imprints of green and brown all over the mustard leather. My opinion of Joules has plummeted, never will I trust their online sales again, all they have done is sent me rubbish.0

I had a simuilar problem with socks....it stressed me out so much, I let it slide which means I was out of pocket.
Ordered 2 x £3 socks in the sale
Delivered 1 pair of socks together with other items
Rang up - they apologised and said so they would send me out another pair
Charged me £6 for the replacement pair they sent
Rang back, oh sorry, we will refund you the £6
Refunded me the £6 but then charged me £3
Rang up saying I had paid for two pairs originally at £3 each so why have they now charged me £3 again
Refund of the £3, charged me £6 again
Ring up and complain, they say they will refund me which they do
Another pair of socks turn up - so I now have three pairs
They have charged me another £6
I GAVE UP!!!!

Apparently, this level of hassle over an order is so rare with Joules and so apologetic are they, that they have offered to send me, free of charge ANY bag in the Joules collection, which has totally taken the wind from my sails. A company who actually does care if you walk! :T
Now all I have to do is choose a bag but omg which one, which one..?????0 -
oh how lucky!!! There's a lovely tweed bag I saw on there the other day!! I must get tips from you on how to complain, I emailed in a complaint when a top I received was different than the picture & description on the website (although definitely the same item) but they just explained the reason and gave me the returns address!! Let us know what you choose

Joozymup, I can understand that they would treat you well because you have been quite vocal on MSE about them. Better for them to keep you sweet. A lot of people seem to have had problems with them though, myself included, and as I've said before there has be something not quite right with how well acquainted you are with their customer service team.0

50% sale back on but I have to say i'm a little dissappointed that quite a few of the items are what were supposedly out of stock last time unless it's stock that was returned from stores. I wonder if it will be reduced further

I do love joules and love visiting my local store on occassion. They're really lovely even when I just fancy a browse rather than buying I always end up chatting for ages.
Although the customer services seem great I have lost a little faith in ordering online too tbh.
ETA: I know there was a sale page before but lots more seems to have been added.0 -
Good luck choosing your bag by the way Joozy.

Hi Shirley, nothing unusual at all about my acquaintance with Joules CS team, you're too suspicious. It's simply that if something is wrong I choose to phone them and complain. I keep the complaint friendly and I find you get more from people that way and I'm quite a chatty person too. It helps if you have continuity and speak with the same person each time, preferably a manager.
If you like a product, in this case Joules and have always been treated with excellent customer service then surely you are entitled to be enthusiastic about them? Isn't this what the forums are for? If you note, for a while back there I was beginning to lose confidence with them altogether...although I am still dubious about ordering online but hey! One more point Shirley, you don't have me convinced that Joules CS would actually take the trouble to read all of this and then spookily know it's me phoning to complain and that they have all been briefed to treat me well :rotfl: I am anonymous on here surely and with so many other similar complaints they have to deal with too, I hardly believe I would be singled out. I should mention that I have also posted about John Lewis..I have no links there either! Your comments do put me off sharing offers on MSE in the future when you question my motives.
For all you other lovely MSErs, thanks for your kind posts and good luck with all your purchases (and not just Joules purchases either Shirley..hee! hee!).0
