I've just accidentally bought a Holborn after reading the plaudits from you lot. I bought my little boy a Joules bag for Nursery yesterday so I can't leave myself out. My bank balance will not do well this month.
  • Thanks so much for your advice Joozy. I'm very satisfied as it seems that I have dipped out. All sorted now though. Just a shame I missed the bag as it's now out of stock. I think a trip to my local is in order tomorrow as they had loads last week.
One thing i've found strange is that on the mens section especially a lot of prices aren't 70% off. Am I missing something?
  • Nope, picture is not a true reflection of the colour - it's a teal colour. Hope you like it :-)
I saw it in the flesh instore a couple of months ago (but a bit out of my price range full price).
I actually thought it was a much nicer style in the flesh than the dulwich.

Joozymup, hope you don't mind me asking, but... do you work for Joules?

Ha! Ha! No I don't but you know maybe I should or least get some commission from them. :rotfl: I just like the clothes because they are different and colourful and I like the bargains even more....;). !!!! It's fun to share the info too on here.

    P.S. Tara747..can I ask if you're crew???? :)
  • Went to the Outlet at York and i must say they had very little left in the store. Most of the items were aged between 2-7. They did have quite alot of adults clothing from XS small upwards. The 70% sales ends this weekend

Just noticed that if you switch to paying in USD ($) instead, it is showing the emerald Holborn as available (albeit an inflated USD price). I'll stand corrected but as I understand it, Joules ships out to the US from the UK, so why would it show available???? I wonder if there is some way of ordering it in dollars then change the payment back to pounds afterwards??? Just thought I'd mention it as I'm a little confused??? :D

OK, sorry to be nosy, just wondering! You do seem very knowledgeable about them :) But then if you like a particular brand/site then it's easy to sound evangelical! And the bargains you post are always appreciated. I must say, I've never bought anything from Joules as I couldn't justify the prices (even in the sale lol), but some of their stuff is very pretty.

    p.s. what's crew?

Guess you've answered the question...Cabin Crew...just by your name tara747! It's the sort of thing we'd do, put your aircraft fleet next to your name, as in Boeing 747 (jumbo)!! lol
Honestly, you should pop along to their outlet stores sometime, if you hit them on a good day you can get some cheap bargains. I have to admit though, I very rarely buy full priced Joules either. It's so expensive and I've noticed this year that the prices have rocketed. Anyway thanks so much for your kind feedback, I really appreciate it. Happy bargain hunting!!! X
