Morning all
Hugs for all those on the sick list and Natty hope you get the leak sorted out asap
DH dropped at the station and DS3 taken to school.
Plan to do a bit in the bedrooms this morning and I have the hairdresser coming at 11.00
Wee bit tired during to going to sleep too late so on a bit of a go slow.
HHC at 10:00 anyone? I need to get my dailies doneThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
natty68 please rest as much as you can and i hope the plumber gets all done today.
DW nearly finished so i can stick the second load in. Livingroom been cleared of junk and clothes. Chickens, rabbit and dog fed.
CPN rang and hubby booked in for a week in feburary. Plan now is to get me and Rhys ready and sort my bag out oh and do a list so i don't forget what i need to get done (head like a sieve at the minute).:rotfl:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hello All.
Dustykitten, I am on a go slow today too. Always seems to hit midweek.
Well I have been for my 2 yearly(!) haircut. Can't decide if I like it yet. I said Betty Page and I'm just not feeling it. I'll put some make-up on later and see if that helps. Off out tonight for a meal with DH for his birthday treat which will be fun. But does mean my friend is babysitting so cue big house cleaning. I was hoping for LR today as I will have to do that today anyway. Oh well.
Much happier about the house. Agree with the other ladies about being more relaxed with unexpected visitors. Electrician came yesterday to check a faulty light in the kitchen. You should have seen the grin on my face, thinking "You have not idea how disgusting that was Monday morning before Pigpen told me to clean it!"
Off to do dailies, fridge and LR (computer is in the master bedroom so that can wait, unless I surpass myself).
Hugs and spoons.0 -

Washing machine blew up for the final time at the weekend. New one should arrive 4-6 days.

DH says they climb up the plug hole? That cant be right there's water in there isnt there? like a trap thing to stop the smells from the drain? Do they have little tiny scuba gear? It's a big ole wolf spider too - will have to pop him outside, but I'm having me coffee first
They do come up the plugholes... I have sieve things in mine that are supposed to stop hair going down, but also stop spiders coming up. Or you can leave the plug in (its too heavy, they can't lift it) although they sometimes divert via the overflow. Given that sometimes they appear in the loo, I think they can swim underwater.
One more reason to move house... how do I find one that is spider free?
Last meeting finished at 1.30am so I'm shattered. I have two webinars this afternoon and then meetings all night again. I've got a list of stuff I want to try to get done today while I'm listening to the meetings, so we'll see how it goes.0 -
Well pinhole in pipe has been fixed, although according to the plumber - and a very nice plumber he was too - we were a couple of hours away from losing our ceiling..oops!! Only trouble is the landing carpet upstairs has got ripped from edge to edge where they had to lift it up
And I was so hoping it wouldn't be a claim for a new carpet, sadly it looks like it will be now. And the carpet comes as one piece for the landing and the stairs - oh great!! Still a new stair carpet is a good thing, won't get it cleaned tomorrow now.
Hugs and love to everyone that wants/needs them, especially Toots, LW, Diva and LL
Ok enough of my waffling, onto lists etc..

Right.. I can't read anything.. and editing my posts is impossible almost, I just get an empty white box but the writing is there just invisible! So, apologies for doubling up the bathroom.. I couldn't see what was on for Tuesday but I knew kitchen had been Monday.. it only seems to be MSE I am having problems with so whether it has something to do with their upgrading or whatever.. in fact.. I don't even know if I can post.. *copy just in case!*.. or if it is a lappy problem.. which took 3 attempts to get windows to load today.. ggrrr.. I'll put up Thursday and Friday later today if I can manage it at some point.
Back from Pi$$y clinic with Mimi.. again..
OH scootled off to job centre again. We are away to his mums this weekend so as Freja is sleeping I'll go pack her bag ready.. I don't want to go.. only cos I am miserable so no valid reason.. I am hoping it is down to the weather and it being January rather than anything else.
Tiddles was up again last night and ended up in my bed at 5:15.. so I am shattered.
oooh.. packing will have to wait I have a starving baby to feed..
