Hi honey I'm homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Had a good time but by eck how quickly have those few hours gone! Was good to catch up with them all, we have all worked at the same office over the years, out of 12 there are 2 of us still there. Some retired, 1 resigned and others are in different offices now.
Now for a cheeky glass of wine before bed (was driving so on soft drinks all night)Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Mrs B, my mother has a sink that sounds a bit like yours and she was at the end of her tether because she couldn't get it clean. DH emailed the manufacturer and they recommended "Barkeeper's Friend" - you can get it from Lakeland but it's about half the price if you've got a local branch of Home Bargains you can get it from). Mum was chuffed with the results and we now always keep some in for more difficult cleaning jobs (of which I have plenty.
)
Thank you - sounds like I need to go decluttering my purse at Lakeland tomorrow (no Home Bargains here) - for Barkeeper's Friend AND the bottom oven liner stuff.
Decluttered my purse of a fiver today and bought a slow cooker from the charity shop I had just decluttered a load of duvets and bedding to. Very similar to one I used to have which has become U/S owing to me breaking the lid! Tried hard to declutter a bag of miscellaneous clothing and raggy stuff to another charity shop which I know can take raggy clothes (which mine usually are by the time I can drag myself out of them  ) but they were closed - so one bag roaming around my car until I can co-ordinate my working hours with their opening hours.
Off to read the recipe book for the SC to remind myself what I can do so that I can buy stuff tomorrow to put in ready for instant dinner when I get home on Thursday.
Better read the flying wish list for tomorrow too.Work is not my Hobby0 -
my fluttering this evening hasnt happened. so am going to head to bed as tomorrow i have a slightly busy day ahead.
1. need to cripple walk to cash point and get cash.
2. clear out rest of shopping as car being valeted at 1pm :j not very mse but i just cant be bothered with it and if OH saw the state of the car he woudl have my guts for garters
3. make doc apt for monday - may need another fit note which means diseplinary at workbut going to get the apt as can cancel if not needed.
4. need to book osteopath
5. need to chase up GSI dude as landlady panicking now (its in hand its just arranging a mutal time to do it, so am not fussed if its a bit late in being done just as long as it gets done)
then slowly on with the rest of the flylady list0 -

not much flying done... just DW and laundry. Still working (well, we have an hour's break before the next meeting). Feel like I haven't moved all day... and don't feel I've achieved much at work either?0

Mrs B - when we had a sink like that we used to use sterilizing tablets - the ones you get for dentures. Fill the sink (tube will say hot or cold) and then drop in a tablet or two overnight. Worked for us.
Just going to defuzz a jumper and then off to bed. Been watching Big Fat Gypsy Wedding with DS1 and DS2, eye opening to say the least - mine like girls with little make up who are naturally pretty and a bit on the sporty side. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dusty that programme made me feel physically sick
how people can dress tiny girls in such provocative clothing and encourage that sort of behaviour is beyond me. Vile. Maybe I'm an old fart? Don't get me wrong I have nothing at all against traditional gypsies at all but some of the 'modern' antics, well it would have been better named chav fest. I've had friends growing up who were traditional travellers and I'm sure most would disapprove of some of the antics. To add to that the way they dealt with the protest was also disgraceful
Greenbee I am sure you got loads done, just sometimes doesn't feel that way xOne day I might be more organised...........

I was wondering if anyone though a steam mop would be much use to me?
I can't afford a proper posh steam cleaner, but as downstairs is all open plan and hard flooring/vinyl, I get very annoyed with having to faff around with buckets and the like.
And if so, what sort of make would be best in your opinions?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
