Yes they can swim underwater, yes they do divert via the overflow, and you'll never find a totally spider-free home, as they like the same sort of living conditions as we do.:o
Remember:
"Never harm a spider,
Only seek to guide her;
Be kind and send her gently on her way":):):):) OK, so I like spiders....... *shrugs*
[/LIST]
No no no! I'm not listening! Swimming under water? Coming through the overflow!? I've been trying to tell myself for years that it's a totally irrational fear and there's NO way they'd come up through the plug or overflow
*Shudder*
During their last mating season (September/October) OH was working on the bathroom = lots of holes in the walls, floor boards up etc = about 18 HUGE spiders in the bath! Every couple of days I'd wake up to find one at least 6-7cm across in the bath and have to get OH to capture it a dump it in the big school field across the roads
Anyway, I'm not getting much done today - just watching all my hard work from Monday and Tuesday getting ruined by an overactive 2 year old and her 5 year old sister, who's off school with a really nasty cough and is still managing to spread her toys and craft stuff over every available surface - hopefully they'll sleep soon, and I can have a HH whizz round and then banish them to their room until tomorrow...
Hope everyone's doing ok today, having just read the 'spoon theory' and reallsing that a lot of people on this thread are suffering from some pretty debilitating ailments - I'm even more amazed at how much you manage to get done! It really is inspirationalPaying off CC in 2011 £2100/£1692

*comes in quietly hoping Pigpen or toots or anyone with a mule doesn't spot me..*
I think Pigpen and her spies are at it again - the study is my RoD.. can barely get into it. So even though the bathrooms are still shiny and sparkly, today is going to be hard
Decluttered a Mr T shop, coffee with a neighbour, and my portuguese lesson, and just grabbing some HM soup before the school run. DD has Brownies tonight, so I'll be spending that time in the RoD.. seeing how much I can do before collecting time.:eek: Am Not Looking Forward To It At All!!!
Glad Mumof2 is feeling better

Flying still not happening. Did get all the tax returns finished though. And I've emptied and restocked DW. Now exhausted. Must get laundry sorted or DH will have hissy fit when he gets home. Don't think he gets the spoon thing. I'm at home with not enought paid work to be busy 8 hrs a day, so must be able to keep up with House Work. Today even de-fleaing dog feels like hard work. Then tomorrow is weekly shop. Scary.
OK. Off to deal with dog. Then will try a couple of 15min blitzes - laundry, living room. Just so I feel like I've achieved something this month.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Ok.
Progress update and ciggy break...
Have got all books now on bookcase inside the wardrobe, a huge pile of files and assignments and the like neatly at the side - perfect fit too the flylady god must be looking down on me today. I have been through the boxes that were there origonally.. shed a few tears on finding a card from my aunt for my 21st the day before she passed away and some old photo's of me and an ex. I know I have moved on as I can look at them now and not feel any anger towards her. I have popped those along with some old diaries and odds and ends into a store box which I will pop up with the document files.. They need to be kept.
Got a load of old boxes from ornaments that are getting the heave-ho. Yes I know it is good for their re-sale price to keep them but tbh life is too short to waste saving boxes.
The study is still a tip but progress is being made. Found loads of old bags too so those are on one side to sort out later. Along with my hats, I have over 15 different hats.. I really must send some to the charity shop, sort out my favourites and get a nice rail of hooks to hang them up in the hall when it is decorated.
Okies.. time to do a bit more.. if I stop much longer I wont move..
Ooo Mumof2.. fabtastic news about the questionnaire. It is nice to hear.
