    Tried registering online and got "Paperless Billing" ticked as a default; not sure I wanted that so tried to untick it but it wouldn't. So I gave them a ring. They said that there had been a lot of IT problems with the on line process. (as this thread so far shows!!). They scheme actually starts on Feb 1st and that you can register by phone from then. That's what I'll do (the guy also said that registering by phone has the advantage that they expliain it all to you by phone and you can ask questions too.)

    No extra points but did get 100 points for installing there toolbar from Nectar which I uninstalled straight away

  • Has anyone received the 100 points for registering?? I set up a british gas online account and have put nectar card details in but have not had 100 points for registering as mentioned on the homepage?


    When I checked on my account it says that these points will be added within 14 days ;)

    Thats the message I kept getting so I gave them a ring, apparently there is a problem with registering some accounts so they took my Nectar card number and promised to ring me back within 5 days.

Only auto message on the freephone number

    Snugglebunny8. I have been trying also to register my nectar card with British Gas and it kept telling me I had done something wrong, so I have just rung Nectar and the chap called his manager who say's it does not go live until 31st January ! So unsure how others have already done it.
