You should also note that even if you are not a gas / electric customer you can get nectar points with british gas.

You can get points for homecare cover too - homecare 400 gives you 600 nectar points a year plus 200 points for booking a boiler service online (which we do need to do soon anyway).

Those of you struggling to enter nectar card leave off first 4 digits off your card number&then it should work

just added my card, got boiler cover but not fuel and they should be coming out this morning to fix a water leak from the boiler so the points will go towards a new ceiling, thanks for the tip didn't know they existed

just tried my card again this morning and it worked fine, so anyone having problems try again today it just might work

exactly the same as me then! I agree with you, maybe would have been good if they had sorted this out first, but perhaps we are just too quick for them lol! x

thanks for all the help, I logged into my BG account and still had same issue, then logged out and back in as suggested ... hey presto the first lot of digits popped up so its all registered fine now, thanks for all your help xx
