    :(

i am with edf. nectar points were a very nice bonus. comparing it to BG, EDF/nectar used to pay out far more points. it states that you could earn 1800 points per year for being a dual fuel customer and submiting readings online with BG. i received 1800 points every quarter with edf!!

however, edf is still the cheapest supplier in my area. :)

I too got Nectar points with EDF and they keep sending me letters saying that they have listened to their customers and have decided not to give Nectar points any more and keep their prices down. TBH I would rather have low prices and Nectar points!!! I think the real reason is that Nectar have now joined forces with British Gas.

Nectar points aint that good anyway but it helps buy a few things at xmas which is always welcome. It only works out roughly £9.50 for 1800 points

I saved my necter points with EDF over a few years and got £98 of amazon vouchers - not bad for really doing nothing (meter reading ) which helped to buy my DD i pod touch at christmas - will miss them.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T
  • £9.50 year is not much to get excited about, if you are with British Gas might as well go get them, but probably cheaper to be with EDF and have lower bills,

Only supplier this year to have "Winter Price Freeze" and have had prices on hold till march 2011,

    Just my £9.50 worth :-)
  • Didnt know either! many thanks for posting, will go register! x
