We've told family/ some friends but I haven't said anything on any social network sites so it isn't 'public'!

I've had a bit of spotting tonight, argh why are these baby's so worrying :(

Just back from the hospital, they were really lovely. Turns out the bleeding is because my ectropion cervix is between the size of a 1p and a 10p piece, so the carrying 2 laptops, plus handbag and small case of clothes from Cardiff across London and then onto Ipswich probably caused it to swell and bleed. This was what I feared, but I got myself into a state when the receptionist at the GPs talked to me like I was stupid earlier.

Baby has a FHH of 154bpm, cervix is closed and everything is fine :) She said because of my cervix I should expect some bleeding but not to overdo it again (no more trips to the opposite side of the country then hurray!) Feeling much more reassured now.

Congrats on team pink Lola :)

Lilymay, I'm sure baby will be the perfect size when born :) Was the private scan worth it? With all the talk of them on here I've contemplated going for one as I'm impatient

That's good news Kerri I'm pleased its nothing serious. It's hard but it's important to take it easy when pregnant as there's just so much going on with the baby. Hope you're ok xxx

I highly recommend a private scan, we mainly chose one as we couldn't find out gender at 20 week scan here but it was worth every penny. We are actually considering another scan once I'm further along as DH enjoyed it so much!

Well I've just been staring at our 11+3 scan and trying to work out whether the forked nub makes baby pink or blue, decided I really am not sure but think it means pink...so have booked a private gender scan the day before OH's birthday. It's not far from our house so will surprise him. Not very MSE but it'll be a lovely treat for him and I'm so impatient lol.

I think my bump took offence to being prodded and made to flip over yesterday at the 20 week scan, all evening she was kicking/elbowing/thumping me from inside!!

kerri_dfw glad the bleeding wasn't anything serious. Just noticed you mentioned Cardiff and your location is Cardiff. I live in Cardiff too :)

That's great news kerri. Take it easy chick, you too scarlet!

I am so sore from having 2 scans yesterday. My bump is having a growth spurt and really aches.

Aww hello Lola *waves* we might be neighbours! We're moving to Bristol end of the month though. We're at the Sunday market every weekend on our bicycles, going to miss that.

Oh no Vic, hope it eases soon. Lots of belly rubs :)

I am having some really bizarre dreams, had a sex dream about Dean Cain which was really random as I haven't thought about him for years since he was in Superman!!

I've finally gone barmy in my boy or girl guessing and posted our scan photos on the in-gender website. Anyone that would like a peek of our scan photos they are here: http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/t/274876.aspx
