Back home now and popped into GP on the way back from the train station, MW appointment booked for 23rd. Mentioned about the spotting and some mild abdominal discomfort and the receptionist talked to me like I was an idiot for not going to see someone when it started yesterday. The spotting is brown today, but I did as she told me and phoned the number in my notes. They said they don't deal with anyone before 17 weeks *sigh* but the nice lady on the phone said "I didn't say this but I'd go up to A&E". So waiting for the OH to come home so he can take me up there, at least someone this evening will put my mind at ease that all I've done is a little too much travel in the heat.

Congrats to Lola and vic for the good scans :) KScarlet you are so organised having clothes already!

Great news on scans - yay for a baby boy :D

Kerri, hopefully it's nothing (I had brown spotting at 11 weeks and again at about 16 weeks but baby is fine. Mw said its just one of those things they can't always explain), but best to put your mind at ease :)

I also had spotting at 11 weeks and 15 weeks. Midwife said I'd overdone it -walking and cleaning.

To balance out vic3 we are team pink! I had a feeling about it as well! The pregnancy is almost identical to my first, but then my mother said all of her pregnancies were the same and she had 2 girls and 1 boy. She said they were all terrible and she felt like crap all the way through and she is not a complainer.

It's funny people say you tend to have the same pregnancies as your mother, but with DD1 it was only the labour which caused me grief and my mother had really bad morning sickness whereas I've had zilch!

Just read through my notes and apparently I have an anterior placenta, which I now know means it is at the front. I assume this is why I have only felt a few sharp kicks so far.

Yay for a boy Vic! So pleased for you! Xx

Congrats Lola another little girl still can't believe I'm having one too! X

Kerri good luck with hospital, spotting is quite common so hopefully nothing to worry about. I'm not that organised clothes are all from my son they have been bagged up I'm surprised how many girls sleepsuits he actually wore lol!

My pregnancies have been quite different to my mums, the only similarity this time is the fainting in the early weeks as she had that too. She went overdue by 3 days, I did by 2 weeks I wasn't impressed!

Lovely news on the scans today ladies - the 20 week one is still my favourite time for an ultrasound. Everything is so clear but still small enough to fit on screen. Are you ladies telling friends and family about the sex?

Hope it's not a long wait in A&E Kerri. You might get told to come back tomorrow as EPU is a 9-5 in most places.

Had my private scan a couple of hours ago. Definitely a little girl, although she is tiny. Measuring more than a week behind this time :(
I'm not going to have any more scans before my 20 week one and just see what her size is like then. No point worrying, I know I have small babies, I just don't want to deal with IUGR again - hopefully they'll keep a close eye.

I've told people, although most had guessed as my bump is all front.
