Hello all - thanks for all your messages etc it really helps. An update from me:
Baby 1 arrived earlier this morning. I woke up to a perculiar feeling and when the midwife looked she could see a bag of membranes and a foot literally poking out.
We knew that there was no going back, although I could feel him moving and kicking all the way down, right up to the point where the waters broke (about 20 minutes before he was out completely) but then no sign of life once he was delivered. He's tiny but perfect with finger nails and toe nails :)

No news on baby 2 just yet, hoping for a scan or something to see how he's doing.

I'm told the whole thing is just a result of the pressure of having two babies in there, and not common, so please don't let any of this stress any of you out :)

Thanks again for everything - your messages have been a big comfort.

SB. I have no words that seem suitable.

So sorry to hear this. Hope number 2 stays where they are and keeps growing. Then one day you will them them about their brother.

I am in awe of your bravery and strength Betty. Your posts come across as being so calm and I just don't know how you do it.

I hope everything is as well as it can be with baby 2 and that he stays put.

Wishing you and your family love and peace xx

Bless you Betty - loads of hugs and thoughts your way - I hope your little one holds on. I have been following you on here for the past few days keeping my fingers firmly crossed.

I have a dear friend who had a similar experience - her surviving little one was born at 24 weeks and he has just turned 4 (with no problems at all - in fact he is a real cheeky monkey!).

I am so sorry for what has happened to you - life just isn't fair :( But stay strong for your little one *hugs* xx
