Busy weekend, lots of spring cleaning in house and garden and an evening out with friends. Its DS's 2nd birthday next week so hoping for nice weather so we can entertain his friends (and ours) in the garden. Shattered now and work tomorrow lol
Had a naughty moment earlier today and ordered some Lamaze toys from the House of Fraser sale for the baby. DS and his little baby friends all loved these so couldn't resist some new ones for new baby

Absolutely! I don't think anytime is good financially, but imagine having newborns and building work going on at the same time.
So how are the babies Betty - have you had any more scans? Hows the bump coming along?!
Thanks for askingHaving a scan in about 10 days time (the almost-20 week scan). I look about 6 months pregnant...
I'm a bit on edge as I've felt quite a bit of movement, then not so much for the last few days. I'm telling myself that: A- this doesn't mean anything at this point; and B- if the worst was to happen there's very little that can be done about it at this stage. But of course that doesn't stop me having a wobble from time to time. Really hoping the scan comes around soon and it's reassuring news0 -
Ahh fluffysox that is my due date too! My scan is on the Wednesday, would have been Tues but I stupidly booked an early one before work. The suspense of seeing beany again is killing me!0

After my whole post that's the bit you decided to concentrate on, not the fact that we're making a effort to make our tiny place work the best it can for our baby.
Thanks...Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Thanks...
I am fairly sure she was joking. I would like to think so anyway!
Anyway even if she wasn't I am sure your place will be just perfect for your little one. Babies couldn't care less whether there is something in their nursery that wouldn't normally be there
I think very few people have everything exactly as they would in their ideal world, I sure as hell know our house is far from perfect but DS has been perfectly happy here and I am sure the next baby will be as well.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Glad we aren't the only one with house stresses! We've been on the waiting list to buy a shared equity property for about 18 months now...finally get a letter in saying we've been approved, go find a house to buy in the next 12 weeks(!) - the very same day work confirm they aren't renewing my contract, so now getting a mortgage is almost impossible (DH wages alone won't let us borrow nearly enough, even going shared equity). So I'm hoping either work have a change of heart, or we win the lottery! Or I start looking for another permanent job, but realistically who is going to employ a 22 week pregnant lady?!0

20 week scan today :-)
But it's late at 6.40pm - didn't realise they done scans that late!
Bit confused with the boots baby club - when do you get the voucher for the free changing bag?
Definately feeling baby lots now, it's very reassuring!

Don't know yet. They're in separate sacs with separate placentas, so according to the Internet they've 2/3 chance of being non-identical and 1/3 chance of being identical. I guess we'll know for sure if the scan shows different genders but otherwise will need to wait until they arrive.
I had a big panic about lack of movement last night, so phoned day care to ask if they could try to find the heartbeats for me. They agreed but when I arrived they'd set up a scan, just to be on the safe side. Both were wriggling around and doing fine - I'm so relieved I could cry0 -

I got my voucher a few weeks after registering, you'll get a letter with quite a few vouchers at the bottom, and one of them is for the changing bag. I got mine perhaps 3 weeks ago, and its valid until end of July so I haven't fetched it yet (16+2).Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
