Morning all hope everyone is well :)

19+1 today feeling really stressed at the moment, really hormonal the slightest thing seems like a massive issue, anyone else feeling the same? :(

Also was going to ask, as anyone come into contact with someone with slapped cheek whilst pregnant? I'm pretty sure that's what my ds has and reading online is saying its none treatable so not much point in going the docs but is saying it can be dangerous during pregnancy, I'm thinking of going the docs with him just to be sure xx

most adults are immune to it anyway so the chances are even if that is what it is you will be fine.. If you want the MW will do bloods to check for immunity just to put your mind at rest but there is a minimally increased risk of mc if you get it before 20 weeks and given how close you are to 20 weeks plus incubation period I'd not bother.

Plus it is no longer contagious once the rash comes out so as it is untreatable and no longer contagious if DS does in fact have it I'd see it as another reason not to bother

Do what you think is best to put your mind at ease.

It is hand foot and mouth doing the rounds here and an icky chucky bug..

My LO had slapped cheek a few weeks ago.

The midwife contacted the hospital who tested my previously taken blood. Got the results in around 72 hours. Most adults are immune though.

Thanks everyone :) I think given my current over reacting to most things this really hasn't helped. I'm might still ring the docs tomorrow if I'm still feeling anxious then xx

they aren't that long.. I'm 5ft 3 and wear their long length trousers usually!!

I would also say next leg lengths come up small, I'm 5 ft2 and their petite trousers are ankle swingers on me. To be fair I think my legs are about average length, I just have a really short body!

    Cheers amus.

Morning all. Feeling annoyingly sicky today - thought I was past the worst of it especially in the mornings but today I keep retching :(

Really not in the mood for work today - it's so sunny I want to be cleaning and sorting the house out for summer (nesting!? lol!)

I have been worrying about my bump lately, or lack of. I'm 14+2 so is my uterus meant to be behind my pubic bone still? I can kind of feel an arch of something poking out the top. I have a big fat bloaty belly though so it's hard to tell where the fat ends and baby starts! :(

I still have a flabby belly with no bump so don't worry about it Poppy :) everyone is different. 16+6

I swear I'm only just looking pregnant rather than porky... I'm 21wks. Although I've said that before!

My hips are still playing up so I'm resting... But sitting hurts, sleeping hurts and even sneezing hurts. Therefore I have insisted we get a new bed... It's 100% the bed and not me that's at fault.

Does anyone know when my next midwife/antenatal appointment should be? Mine is in July, which seems ages away.
