He likes Squeak.. not so sure about Dot.. but his entire family ignore her. He likes my DD1 very much and DD4 too. DS3 is hard work, very hard work, he alway has been and DD3 is a prize cowbag. DD5 is totally bone idle and while she is not horrible she is really frustrating. DS2 is a geek, never off his pc kind of geek.. he goes to college and is never late and we rarely have any bother from him. DS1 is still much harder work than all of the others put together and he doesn't even live here! DD2 is rarely seen.. she rarely speak and you have to make the effort because she won't and he doesn't. The only ones I would swap or think other people might want to slap are DS3 and DD3.. though everyone seems to really like them when they gp anywhere. I sometimes wonder if he even likes me, I am pretty certain he doesn't love me.

I never lied, I owned up to my 8 before I met him .. I usually say I have 2 then add 'genders' in my head lol. I even 'fessed up to having the grandboy too.

I know he needs bit of a slap.. he is the one who kept mentioning having a boy after Dot was born, I was the one preventing it.. unsiccessfully it seems.. and you never know.. Bounty says this is a boy .. (bet it's a girl though!! I will sniff my own slippers if it is a boy!.. that is NOT a good thing believe me!)

That's what I mean..it's not like you tricked him!

And if he wanted to be so certain of you not falling pregnant again, then why didn't he have the snip, or as Jeremy Vile would say 'put something on the end of it'!!

Oh pp what makes you so certain that he doesn't love you? That's so sad :-(

first off, he loves someone who doesn't want him.. which is really sad. He went to visit her (in another country) and she spent most of the 2 weeks in the bedroom with a married man.. :( I've seen the chatlogs, it is obvious.

He can't love me because he loves someone else. He hasn't told me he does for over 2 years.

How about hot honey and lemon, have you tried that? It can be quite soothing.

I'm not sure if you can use something like Olbas Oil to help you breathe? I have a feeling that maybe you can't, but there might be something similar you can dab on your PJ's to help you breathe.

Giz - try putting a pillow or two underneath your matteress so your head and chest are not lying flat - it really helped me a week or two ago. Also ice lollys helped soothe the sore throat better than anything else. Can you use Vicks in pregnancy? If yes try rubbing some on the soles of your feet to help a cough (I promise it works!)

Tried Vicks vaporub, vicks inhaler, karvol drops (which is basically olbas oil), Sitting up in bed, Soothers, steam/hot flannel. Steam is the only thing that clears my nose, but once the steam has gone I'm blocked up again!

I haven't tried Vicks on the soles of the feet for coughing though, so will do that tonight and report back! I also found out I can have Dry cough linctus, so going to try that tonight too. Wish me luck.

Hmm Bigbird, £40 is bit much :o

nah.. we're good.. mostly.. it takes hell of a lot to drag me down and he plods along oblivious to the world falling on his head. We don't argue ever, he isn't nasty to me, he doesn't put the children down constantly. He will do anything I ask pretty much. He is really lovely.. just a bit odd.. but one perfect person in the house is enough ;)

I dislike OH today.. let's just say he knows.. he almost mowed down 3 pedestrians and a cyclist on the school run, nearly took the door of the car and the back room door off the hinges. The doors on the kitchen units were almost on next doors units and the poor DW has a headache! Dot nearly had her little bum scrubbed off and the cats have been yelled at.

And you wonder why I didn't tell him sooner..
I'm sorry your OH is behaving like such a pig since finding out. You seem to have enough children on your plate without him behaving like a prize one as well. How long do you think he will be in a strop for? Will he come with you to your scan on Tue, or would you rather he didn't? I hope he calms down soon. What difference will one more make when you already have a nocturnal toddler ;)

He isn't coming to the scan.. he almost killed us all driving like an idiot when we had Dots so I am going on my own.. I want to not be utterly stressed and the appt is at 1pm and the baby usually goes for her nap about then and she is a dragon if kept up, so, I am going on my own. I'll thrust pics at him when I get back. It will only be a couple of weeks to the 20 week scan anyway and he can come to that one, though if the MW was correct the 20 week scan will be in a fortnight lol..

He has just grown out of the Dot strop and she is 17 months so it may last a fair while yet..

I am quite tempted to just put scan pics on FB on the way home from the hospital on Tuesday.. and tell the whole world at once lol... then wait for the phonecall from his mother and the text from mine.. actually.. that seems a really good idea!

Ah well only another 2 years of him stropping then :) At least Dot might be sleeping by then!!

Good luck for the scan. I'd love to have been brave enough to post pics straight onto FB. I still haven't had the guts. A few people who know keep asking me when they can tell people. I'd rather people just think i'm a bit porky at the mo.

Had my consultant appointment. Good news is I can still labour in water for definite, but may have to get out to deliver as they'll want to monitor blood loss. I have to be in hospital, have a managed third stage and have a canula put in for 'just in case'.

One more consultant appointment to discuss results of cyst after the scan then I don't need to be seen again (assuming cyst disappears/gets smaller).

20 week scan is in just over 3 weeks now :D Not long really I guess.

My due date has been officially changed, so I'm 16+4 today.
