morning all.
It's a gorgeous day here down on isle of wight. very cold tho. but is great to see the bright blue sky again and the sun shining down. I'm 16 +1 now. oh dear i'm getting a bump. it is more highlighted if i wear my jeans , so trying not to wear them.i've got a pregnancy time line thingy on my FB and it said at 16 weeks baby is 4.5 inches, wow last time i read it properly babe was only about 3 inches. i forget how quickly bean grow's.
still not sure if i'm meant to see midwife this week, but i'm sure if i'm meant to she will phone. i'm not gonna be chasing her for appoint's when i'm quite happy without them. i've got my scan in 4 weeks and an appoint 4 days later with consultant so that enough fuss for me,lol. i like to be just left alone to get on with it.
Had a fab weekend. didn't do much, but fri night hubby and i had a curry night once kids were in bed. cooked a madras ( well jar of sauce) was meant to be a hot one, but i think my taste buds are changing at it really wasn't. had the works, papadoms, naan bread, mango chutney, onion bargie, samosa and a nice bottle of wine. but i'm still being good so only 1 glass. could easily of drunk it all tho as very nice. then spent the rest of weekend at home ( was so cold). kids loved it did painting, play doh, x-box, ludo, reading etc. very relaxing weekend for all.
i like baby hangers also doglover. i keep them, when woolies was going i bought loads of little pink ones and mutli coloured boys one's. great for the kids clothes in wardrobes as adults hangers are way to too big kids clothing, my dd is now 7 and uses bigger hangers but my 5 year old his clothes just get stretched if i use bigger hangers.
i must say my 1 coo, well 2 coo's really is baby booties, even more so if they are knitted and also the tiny size babies hats.
sorry if i missed it, i'm sure someone was havign their sexing scan at weekend or today, good luck and hope u see the sex easily. and also to sequenna with your cardiff appoint, hope u get some answers hun.
Hugs to thos who need them, and hope every one is all feeling well .0 -

DS has size 4 feet now at the age of 8 which are same size as mine so is now pinching my socks!
Looking forward to cooing over tiny socks again0 -
wow, thats big feet. i thought my dd had big feet , she's 7, height of a 10 yr old and in size 2 shoes.
my ds1 tho is 5 and only just gone into size 11 and his younger bro is 3 and in size 9,lol. but everything about ds1 is dinky. but it just goes to show there is not set size per age, all our different, which i love. every one is different and amazing in their own way.0 -

lol I know - I only hope his feet stop growing at some point  - he is not overly tall for his age either at the moment but perhaps he will shoot up in height at some point!
My DD is 7 next week and she is a 13.5 but there are lots in her class with much smaller feet - as you say they are all shapes and sizes!0 -

Do you mean when you try to go nothing happens? - if your drinking enough and it keeps happening then perhaps go to docs to rule out a urine infection? - they are very common in pregnancy.
Re the spots - it's all the hormones I'm afraid.
I've been lucky so far on my face but keep getting big spots on my legs and bottom :eek:0 -
Spots are def hormones, I've been ok so far * touch wood!* but I have had a few around my nose as I keep blowing it, Im very snuffly lately, which is another preg thing according to my mw.
I am on a lovely day off today, soo relaxed and chilled, went swimming this morning, so im a bit tired now, but I really think its helped my tummy aches, Im definatley going to try a make it into a regular thing.
Hope everyone is well xLiving as simply as we can
