Whoop whoop. Great news ddebski!!
Right. Own up. Who bid on the bargain eBay nappies I was after?!?! Not sure if I'm going to increase my bid ad have realised they're all size 1 which are for 6-18lbs. Not sure I need 30 of them... had thought about using terries when small.0 -
Twi1ight it's not me. I'll be using shameful disposables!0

I really hope she gets pregnant soon as I'd love to have someone fairly close by to share it all with. My only other pregnant friend lives 200 miles away
Looking forward to getting to some kind of antenatal classes for that very reason. At the early pregnancy class at the midwife centre there were loads of women who looked to be of a very similar demographic to me.
You'd be surprised how many pregnant people come out of the woodwork. A year ago I only had one friend with a baby - now my SIL and 2 colleagues have them and since announcing our pregnancy 2 other people on my fb have messaged me to say they're also expecting and now my sister is too :T 2011 is all about the babies :jLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
Lovely pic Ddebski, bet you're so happy to have met them, I was weepy and needed lots of tissues!
Tw1light it wasn't me who bid - I can't even decide on a make let alone buy yet!
Caelshorn thanks for that link and great minds think alike, yest morning I found the voucher in my Bounty and plan to post today, 16 weeks yet before they will post it as it says at 36 weeks....
I have filled in the advice form at the Nappy Lady site, what a great site it is, so many videos to watch explaining differences and how to's. I think we will go for bamboo with a mix of microfibre or something else as this is best of both worlds and helps dry quicker. The TotsBots Flexitot is like this.
We have washing line, radiators and if we must a dryer that in a year I have used only nce to test out. Once baby's here it will be invaluable no doubt come Winter but they're energy eaters...
Thinking of appliances we don't need currently, am thinking of buying a microwave as we don't use one but once bubs is here it would prob make sense for speed.
Claireloo yes you're right - it's the Credit Crunch Indoors effect:):)

Ok, so i said no to buying anything until later but i gave in and bought the most gorgeous cot set! It's from mamas and papas and is cream, and it has everything we need really, curtains, lampshade, sheets, quilt, and a fleece blanket for the pram!
Question? should we still be taking a multi vitamin anf folic acid, my pack runs out today and i don't know whether to bother getting any more, i'm 14+3 today.0 -

My MW told me just to keep taking them until I had used up the whole packet. I did buy more multivitamins but they made me a little "bunged up" so I stopped taking them.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
