    Hi All:j

Sunshine - I have B- so will have the anti d injections, my friend also had to have them. I asked for a leaflet from my midwife to explain it and she emailed me a general nhs one so worth asking for and a bit of info is in the main purple pregnancy book you are given. Main thing is to have the anti-D injections when you need it ie 28wks etc and if you have an incident eg bleed then you will need an injection within 72 hours. Also as said before blood type of baby will be established after birth to see if you will need and another anti d injection. Obviously now I know that I am B- if I get run over by a bus:eek: I will tellling the paramedic I am B- dont give me any rubbish blood :rotfl:.

All - Been to carboots x2 Bought as follows:
7x sleepsuits (or whatever!) some with feet & hand covers too.
    1x dungarees outfit
    all of above £2.50
    1x sleeping bag thingey £2
Moses basket with all bits including matress (no stand) £7!! (was not going to bother with one but it was £7!!!!)
    bath support £2
fisher price arch thingey makes noises for when they are on a mat £5
mat thing with head support £2
tommy tippee electic bottle/food warmer £2.50
    changing mat £2
I spent less than a tenner as mum kindly bought some items for me, not too bad for a hot morning!

    Evening all,

I've been having a stressful evening. Went to the loo about an hour and half ago and when I wiped there was bright red blood. I wiped about five/six times before it went away. I went a couple more times and there was more. I called the maternity unit and spoke to a midwife who said I shouldn't go in unless it's heavy and I'm soaking through a pad.
At the moment I think it has all but stopped but I'm still worried. I'm not having any pain but as I posted last week I had a lot of cramping but not unbearable (except for about 30seconds yesterday morning when I had a sharp pain) so I guess I shouldn't worry. I had something similar about a week and a half ago and we had a scan and Sir Alex was fine so I'm hoping it is the same as that.
The midwife said that you can sometimes get bleeding with thrush but I've had that many times before and I am pretty sure I don't have it. She asked if we'd DTD recently but we haven't (still bit scared after last bleed). I did however run from the car to mcdonald's earlier and back so maybe I have a very sensitive cervix and I annoyed it?!

    Sorry I've rambled :o

    xx

I'm sure everything will be ok Emsbet, I think your wee baby just wants to worry you silly! You know once he/she is born you'l worry even more. Just thinking too, if they decide to make an early appearance could come on your anniversary, what a present :o

My due date is a week after our 1st anniversary too! We're hoping Pip doesn't make an early appearance to be honest, we'd quite like the dates to be different. It's still an amazing anniversary present either way!

Emsbet, I hope everything is ok with Sir Alex. Maybe you're just one of the women who have light occasional bleeding the whole way through? I realise that won't do much good for your worrying nature but i am sure everything is ok in there. Hope you manage to relax a bit this evening.

We weren't officially trying, but we were doing the whole 'not trying, not preventing' thing, and to be honest it happened a lot quicker than I think either of us were expecting! There was no reason for me to think otherwise but I never thought I'd fall so quickly, had always kind of assumed (based on absolutely no evidence!) that I'd find it difficult, and it would take months but I was taken by surprise!

Just been to the loo had when I wiped there was some rusty red/brown. Nothing on panty liner still. I guess I just have to wait and see.

We started trying straight away. We actually fell on the second month of trying but lost that one somewhere between five and six weeks. We were really lucky to fall just two months later with Sir Alex.

I wasn't trying! Our baby defied logic. I always assumed I'd be someone who took ages to fall pregnant too. I've always wanted a big family though, and circumstances were what stopped us going ahead with it, but these things happen :p
