Hey everyone. Hope you're having a nice relaxing weekend. I slept rubbish last night, but at least I didn't need to get up for work this morning.

I couldn't find a voucher in the M&P's catalogue. Can anyone let me know where it is as I can't seem to find it. I still haven't bought anything, lol. Must start shopping soon. Going to the M&P's outlet in 2 weeks, so I might wait to see what I get there before shopping for the rest. I pretty much know what I want and just need to pick it up. Going down to the Mothercare event next week, so maybe they'll entice me with some offers. I think we're pretty much set on the Oyster pushchair, but going to try both that and the bugaboo chamelon once more before we decide :rotfl:

How do you pick a cot, I seem to like most of them...... I know that I want a cot bed in a light wood (like beech). What else should I be considering? Thanks :)

Sunshine, I have a silvercross 3d which I managed to pick up as new for £125. I was going to get this model anyway as my sister had one with my niece and loved it! One thing I would say is that it folds down to be a bit bulky so make sure you have a big enough boot (this is the reason we got it so cheap, the people we bought it off couldn't fit it in their boot amd so only used it twice!)

Whether you want a drop side (essential if you are short lol) or multi postion base. Where it will fit... is it too big/small? Teething rails? (plasic covers for the top edges for gnawing babies)

Twigpig - the mamas and papas gift card only comes if you order the catalogue online I think - dont think theres the gift card (creditcard type card) in the ones you pick up instore???

We went to Blackpool yesterday. Nice walk along the front and then chips on the front :) then a lovely 5 hour sit in the car queuing for the lights queue then in the lights then driving home.
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Hi sunshine. I have O- aswell and had to have an anti d injection after my first son was born as he had a positive blood group. I dont think theres any problem as long as they know your rhesus status during pregnancy. Im on my 2nd child now and just need to get an anti d at 28wks and 34wks incase this one is also positive. I believe they test their blood when they are born and if they are positive you get another one after the birth.
I hope that puts your mind at ease a bit

    Afternoon all,

Hope everyone is well. DarkPhaery did you manage to get hold of NHS direct or your maternity ward? Hope you are ok.

I am back home from our visit back to Shrewsbury to visit family and friends. We hadn't seen everyone for about two months so it was nice to catch up. I do worry that I'll struggle when Sir Alex is born as all our family and most of our friends live there and we now live 80 miles away. I guess it's a good excuse to get out and meet new people :)

Got my first full week at work in about two months this week so I'm not looking forward to that - going to be very tired I think!

Managed to get my free pack of huggies newborn nappies from tesco today - very excited about it! :j :)

    xx

Thanks pigpen. The room is a fair size so size isn't much of an issue. Might need to browse a bit more. Thanks :D

Thanks phunkles - just ordered another M&P's catalogue from the website.

And whilst I was out, I also bought the Mother & Baby magazine for the free wipes and nursery rhymes CD :rotfl: Is that my first baby purchase?! :rotfl:

    HI

I'm exactly the same. O negative RH negative. I have to have the Anti D jab at my 28 week scan incase the baby is positive.
There's quite a bit of info online if you do read up! :)
