Isn't our jobs as parents to embararess them later on?
The promised bunny ears photo will be pulled out when the first girl/boy friend is brought home :rotfl:

I dragged DH to the NCT Nearly New sale this afternoon ... I loved it, rifling for bargains and rumaging for good buys. We got a Graco travel cot for £20, a maternity/feeding pillow for £3 and loads of clothes. All in all we spent £50 and we're rather pleased.

I wil keep an eye on when the next ones are in the other branches around us.

Thanks to the poster that mentioned it, still can't find the blasted post, sorry! :o

Been up since 1am with horrible heartburn, 1st time i've had it in pregnancy. Been reading in my baby book and it's got me a bit worried as it says if you have any "alarm symptoms" contact the Dr immediately, these include arm and jaw pain which I've had terribly and have bothered me more than the pain in my chest. Tried to ring NHS direct as my Drs don't have an out of hours service but they have a message on saying they are only taking emergency calls and to call back later. Have been clock watching since 1am as i just want to go to asda and get some gaviscon which i know is safe. Only 3 hours 28 minutes until Asda opens :)

    :j 24 weeks today!! :j

Can't believe how quickly it's going!

(((hugs))) Darkphaery, really hope you feel better soon and that you've been able to talk to someone. Maybe try the maternity unit at the hospital if you can't get through to NHS Direct? Oh and I've found Zantac to work better than Gaviscon as it's the same active ingredient (ranitidine) that's in whatever a dr will prescribe for you if you're really suffering. But I think everyone has something which works better for them than for others!

Viability day! 24 weeks = viable pregnancy. I think it's to do with the baby's chances of survival if born premature.

    Morning Ladies and bumps!

Haven't been on for a while so just had a quick read back and catch up! Glad your second scan went well Gilly, I've got mine this Tuesday morning, I'm hoping baby is in a better position this time, though I am looking forward to seeing baby again and getting more pics!

Went to Mothercare yesterday, I've not been sleeping so good so decided to buy a maternity pillow for bed, had a wonderful sleep last night so was a good buy!

I can't believe how fast time is going, can't believe I will be 22 weeks this week - scary!! Feeling baby move lots and finally getting use to it, its certainly a strange feeling when youy first feel it!

Hope you all have a great Sunday, weather is miserable here, but I don't mind, its been to hot for my liking these past few days, pregnancy and heat don't seem to mix!!

    xx
