I wasn't sure if I needed to have a full bladder for my second scan as I'd read that some people did, some didn't, depended on the hospital. As it turns out, I did! Plus was half an hour late going in so I was desperate by the time the sonographer had finished poking about!

Congratulations on team blue mozzy! I'm sure we're due a few pinks, there's loads of blues now! Maybe I'm a pink, I just don't know it!

No full bladder needed. Neither did i do a blood or urine test. Just the scan!

I've booked for my flu jab for this Saturday but still in 2 minds x

Is it the swine flu jab or just the regular one? Are they still doing swine flu jabs? I normally have the regular one anyway as I'm asthmatic so may have it again if I'm offered. No-one has mentioned anything about it to me yet but have got my next MW appointment on the 6th October so may mention it then...

Congratulations Mozzyc :j. There does seem to be a run of team blue, but there was a little spate of pinks before so it all evens out!

I managed to get through the midwife appointment yesterday without her mentioning the flu vaccine. I'm thinking that I won't have it. It seems so strange that we are told so much that we shouldn't eat, shouldn't take tablets wise, shouldn't do, and yet they are desperately keen for us to have this injection. I wouldn't ordinarily fall into a category to have it, so it seems strange to do so for the first time when I have a little one on board.
